I’m glad it’s over. I couldn’t do another game.

Sigh of relief. Massive sigh of relief. Love this team and all of its fans.

I am ready for 15 more games!  Georgia seems like they were likely the 2nd best team this season.  Let's play GA next week!  Bring it!

MICHIGAN FOOTBALL NEVER ENDS.  NEVER!!!!

I was 11 in 1997, and I was aware but not fully aware of what was going on with Michigan. I remember wanting a Charles Woodsons jersey badly. My folks drove around Detroit trying to find one while we were up there attending the auto show. We found it. Had that jersey for many years.

My youngest is 11 and more engaged in Michigan football than I was in 1997. I hope he remembers this night forever, but I sure he hope he doesn't have to wait 26 years for the next one.

It was such a fun ride. it was interesting to hear several of the players in post game interviews acknowledging that this is bittersweet, because they loved playing with each other so much. For me as a fan, it is also bittersweet. Watching this team has been an absolute pleasure, perhaps the biggest of my sports fan life. I will miss watching them play and win huge games over and over. Team 144 - a team for the ages!

I am ready and willing to root on Team 145 but my fandom needs a bit of a break. This season has been the best but has also taught me a lot about myself. It will never be forgotten what this team has accomplished. Go Blue!

I’m so emotionally spent.

I barely have enough football in me for the lions game in a few days.

With Morant out for the year in my Grizzlies, the Pistons being putrid, and Michigan basketball being a shitshow, I’m probably going to just take the next few months off outside of the occasional red wings game.

Completely agree. I'm exhausted. It started with the Penn State game and kept building. I can finally stop thinking about it and relax and enjoy.

Basically checking out of sports after the Super Bowl.

Lions season has already been successful in my eyes. Focusing more on free agency and draft.

As an aside, Washington show a ton of toughness tonight. Johnson playing with an injured foot really impressed me. Penix too.  Don’t doubt UW’s toughness.

Good jesus my heart can't handle any more. I'm just so glad this season is over and am just going to enjoy the next 8 months as a fan of the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

What an emotional swing this game was, microcosm of the year. We get a big jump on them and have a chance to step on them, not once but twice. And do not.

kept assuring myself we are the better team, and finally we pulled away but it wasn’t without some frustration, concern and anxiety.

I’ll take it !

We all went through so much this season. I can't even imagine what it was like being an actual player or Coach Harbaugh, Sherrone being thrust in the limelight, the list goes on... Michigan men fr

Over the last six games, they've proven everything they can possibly prove. They can relax now. No one needs to stand in front of them any more - that was settled tonight.

Penix and Johnson were worthy opponents. I'm sure Penix will be a bit haunted by his mistakes, but that defense made a lot of quarterbacks feel that way. A lot of respect for guys who keep fighting even when they're hurting and the game's getting away from them.

What a season. McCarthy's a legend. Who would have figured he'd throw 3/4 of his interceptions this season in a 31-6 victory over a 7-6 MAC team? Great defense and ball control - can't go wrong with that.

Fifteen's enough. They did it.

I totally agree. I enjoyed every moment, and I was pretty chill for the start of the rose bowl but man the tension was building and my heart needs a break.

I was at the Rose Bowl, this game was infinitely more stressful because it was for all the marbles against a team we were even more likely to beat. These opportunities are incredibly rare and can flip on the tiniest of things. So happy we pulled it off, so relieved it's over!
