HTTV Questions Redux

Submitted by LKLIII on July 20th, 2022 at 2:08 PM

Apologies for this necropost/re-post hybrid. I asked for an update in the original thread that was made last month https://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/two-httv-questions. However, it seems like the design of the 3.0 board is such that new comments don't bump an old topic up to the top of the feed & so if I don't set this up as a brand new thread, my question might never get seen.

Bottom Line:

Back in June folks were asking RE: the status of HTTV 2022. At the time, Seth said he 'hoped" to be able to provide an update "tomorrow" (i.e., on June 23rd), but AFAIK that didn't happen. Totally understandable, as Seth is spread pretty thin of course. Unless I missed something when I searched for it, I don't think he provided any update since then. If he DID, then please help an incompetent brother out & could someone please provide me a link??)  But if he didn't, then it's been almost a month & this is the time of year I get the craving for some serious HTTV content. That's ESPECIALLY true this year coming off the high of last season. So, I'm wondering ......

Seth: Any chance we could get an update on the status of HTTV 2022 time line at this point?

We're still writing it. Best hope is to have it done by August. Only printing 1500 copies this time, might have to skip the Kickstarter and do direct sales.

I hate to seem like I’m jonesing for a copy…. But I am. Any idea when this will be available? I really just don’t want to miss the opportunity. Peace and love, Seth. :-D

Selfishly hoping for Kickstarter to ensure I get a copy, but will still do my best to get my hands on one, no matter what is decided. For many years, HTTV has been my true primer for each new season. Great information/writing provided by all involved...and the highly informed in-depth analysis is greatly appreciated. Steele's, Athlon, and Lindy's seem to provide next to nothing meaningful in their one-page coverages when it comes to Michigan.  (I get them free from a neighbor or I wouldn't read them.)

Seriously, Seth, I missed HTTV last year. Just as well, given the black mood and dire predictions, and the contrasting glorious triumph. But 1500 copies doesn't seem like a lot. Tell me where to send/give my money. I'll get 'er done to have my name on the list for my own precious copy.
