I never thought I'd see the day where a low ranking true DT would be welcoming news to see. Hopefully we can develop him.  It's not unheard of on the lines.

Rankings in a Covid world over the next cycle will be very interesting.  Limited in person evaluations, camps, shortened seasons etc.

We will see more sleepers and variation.

The challenges for a staff to adapt their evaluation process is daunting.

Informative, thank you. Eval reads like a guy we hope cracks the rotation in year 3 or 4 (or 5 or 6, whatever the eligibility breakdown is). The part I don’t like about the eval is that he seems to have a lot of basics to work on. You mention a lot Of arm tackling attempts and grabbing ahold of players and waiting for the team to show up to make a play. While a lot of that will be common for him in the trenches, I feel kids that are behind on technique are often a bigger project than those who may have the technique but lack size or even athleticism. That said, sometimes these kids get to college, get proper position coaching and technique coaching, and explode. What I was hoping for Ojabo, Welschoff, and some others, is what I’m thinking we are getting here, tho I think the two mentioned are more natural athletes

That said, I don’t care where he ranks or what his technique looks like etc. if he wants to go blue, I want to have him in the family. Welcome young man
