He put a finger in his chest. That was bad. But I mean in a good way. Because when it comes to Zak accepting the trophy.., I will take that. BECAUSE WE ARE MICHIGAN!! That was the most passive/aggressive statement I could come up with!

Couldn't even congratulate publicly the fucking team that won the conference you're supposed to represent. What commissioner doesn't do that? It's embarrassing.

He has publicly and privately embarrassed and disrespected Michigan and he couldn't even say nice win for everyone to see. Michigan must do everything in their power to remove him.

To be fair, a lot of the commissioners had a bad weekend and got booed. And some didn't say anything either. I think the Pac12 guy was one.

I know that a number of Michigan fans and alumni are filled with vitriol and vengeance, but Jim just cares about winning and the kids. He's more than happy to accept a trophy that shows how his team overcame adversity, showed unity and leadership and ended up on the winning side in the end.

Harbaugh isn't concerned about what others think or do. Winning has always been the goal, no matter the circumstances. Yesterday, he, and his team, conquered. Nothing more needed to be said.

I was in section 121 and people in our section (myself included) and in 118 were yelling at Petitti with about 3 to go in the game when he was standing in the corner of the end zone by us. Yelling the classics like “Hey Tony you suck”,  “Asshole”, and of course “Fuck you Tony.” Tony was looking up and pointed in a general direction and ended up getting one of his police security members to radio for officers. Right after that here came three police officers and kicked a UM fan out in 118 in about the 5th row. Tony’s a bitch!

I’m a bit disappointed in the caption, that Barron, the photographer put on this picture.

”Looks like Jim Harbaugh had some strong words for Tony Petitti”

That’s clearly not what happened, regardless of what this picture might look like. If you saw the video, Harbaugh is just pointing so that the trophy should go to Zitner, who is to his right. That’s who he is pointing at. There was no incident or anything.

Harbaugh would have been well within his rights to tell Petitti, “Hey man, you’re a terrible commissioner—do one thing right and give us the trophy we earned” but he (correctly) handled the situation with class (unlike the ungracious B1G commissioner) and didn’t make it about himself but instead the team, specifically his players, led by their injured captain.

Reporters and photographers should just stick to reporting what actually happened, not conjuring fake interactions. Leave the fan fiction to us message board posters.

I was so excited to hear the boos for Tony but they quickly had to change to cheers for Zinter.

The cheering for Zinter was well deserved.  But Tony got off easy.  Oh well.  If he needs comfort, he can always go to his best buddy, Ryan Day.

This middle finger is for you, Tony.  Feel free to pass it on to the rest of the Big Ten.

Great picture. Jim pointing a finger at Petitti. Petitti is not smiling. Too bad we can't see Jim's facial expression. Love it!

Although during this exchange, Jim wanted the B1G trophy to go to Zak Zinter.

I honestly don't know if Harbaugh knows what Petitti looked like or gives a shit about him.  One of these guys is going to be playing for a national title and then getting a huge contract and the other might be looking for a new job in a year.
