Its stride. Fucking autocorrect.
October 5th, 2019 at 9:24 PM ^
Should have autocorrected to wall
October 5th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
What a fucking clown.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
You disagree?
October 5th, 2019 at 6:23 PM ^
You don't?
October 5th, 2019 at 4:23 PM ^
Keep fumble the balls. Hitting the stride!
October 5th, 2019 at 5:19 PM ^
Recovering those fumbles = stride.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:23 PM ^
How about in the "scoring points" way?
How's that stride coming along?
October 5th, 2019 at 4:23 PM ^
He’s saying this just to piss off all the toxic, asshole fans and it’s great.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:25 PM ^
Where have we seen this movie.... oh right 2017 2018
a flawed defense carries the team until a rivalry game or PSU and gets the doors blown off. Rinse and repeat.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:35 PM ^
TheCube shows up as a toxic and miserable person!! ?
October 5th, 2019 at 11:00 PM ^
And a realist.
October 6th, 2019 at 5:06 AM ^
Tbh at this point I consider PSU a rival
October 5th, 2019 at 4:27 PM ^
It’s like people still think Harbaugh likes the media or press conferences, he doesn’t owe them anything
October 5th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
Harbaugh thinks he’s Bill Belichick or Nick Saban without the trophies. Dude is delusional. His schtick is getting old.
A coach like Urban would have this team in the top 3. He pretty much exposed UMs offense on Fox in an articulate, intelligent manner. It disgusts me that I actually like watching Urban break down football on tv bc our coach is such a weirdo.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:44 PM ^
Really? I thought we were “way behind” in recruiting top end talent? Which is it?
October 5th, 2019 at 5:01 PM ^
Um it’s possible to have recruiting deficiencies while recruiting well in aggregate.
See DT, CB and WR recruiting moving forward. Hell even RB is suspect.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:01 PM ^
Um it’s possible to have recruiting deficiencies while recruiting well in aggregate.
See DT, CB and WR recruiting moving forward. Hell even RB is suspect. Add on Harbaughs retention issues with players and boom. Top end talent + deficiencies. Urban would still get more out of this team.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:23 PM ^
If the team was putting on a class play--the receivers would have non-speaking parts.....
October 5th, 2019 at 5:25 PM ^
If the media didn't exist Harbaugh wouldn't be getting paid millions of dollars, so he owes them a least not being a petulant asshole.
October 5th, 2019 at 6:02 PM ^
Harbaugh exists in the capacity he does (coaching a college football team, making millions of dollars) because fans are willing to pay money to watch the team and but merch. The media is our indirect access to the team, so therefore he does sort of owe the media something. I'll never understand this concept of fans and media not being able to be frustrated or complain, he exists because we exist, he should act like it
October 5th, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
I believe it was Bo Schembechler who said of the media, "We don't need them when we are winning, and they can't help us when we are losing."
October 6th, 2019 at 11:50 AM ^
Yeah, I know quit living in the past but I really miss Bo. I guess most of us do especially with the low level coaching we've had over the last 15 to 20 years.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:33 PM ^
Or...…..He's saying it in a sarcastic way towards the media because its a dumb question to ask how the offense is doing after the worst offensive outing in Harbaughs time at Michigan.
Yeah this makes a lot more sense than you thinking Harbaugh reads MgoBlog, Reddit, and Twitter after games and sees the "toxic asshole fans" opinions of the offense
October 5th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
Or more simply: Harbaugh doesn't publicly criticize his team very often.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
You went head over heels for the Gillette toxic masculinity ad didn't you Mr. Rogers?
When Brady Hoke was hired, I posted that it made me sad and depressed. You ripped me for that comment saying that Michigan fans are the worst and should just cheer for our team.
You know, it's okay for Michigan fans to desire something better than mediocre. Just because that's how you live your life, doesn't mean everyone has to set their expectation levels so low. But you certainly fit in here.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:48 PM ^
Warning: Do not seek constructive criticism on your Harbaugh’s players. He will utter nothing but praise. A rule of thumb for operating your Harbaugh: Players who earn the heaviest amounts of praise often deserve it the least. (See Jenkins, A.J, and Baldwin, Jon).
October 5th, 2019 at 6:21 PM ^
So thats how the cult of harbaugh rationalizing failure. Trolling paying fans
October 5th, 2019 at 4:23 PM ^
Listen, I like Harbaugh... but this?
Nah, man, I can’t get behind this.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:23 PM ^
... what offense?
October 5th, 2019 at 4:24 PM ^
Coach, quit bogarting that J. It's supposed to be: puff, puff, pass.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:24 PM ^
Whatever stride he's referencing ought to have a higher standard imo
October 5th, 2019 at 4:24 PM ^
What's he supposed to say "the team is loaded with NFL talent but can't execute simple plays"
The coach has to stand by his team in public. I'm sure the internal message will be more "nuanced"
October 5th, 2019 at 4:27 PM ^
He could just say we have a lot of work to do we wont win a game playing like this. Simple. True.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:01 PM ^
What difference does it make, really?
Are we going to play better football if he criticizes his players to the press?
October 5th, 2019 at 4:28 PM ^
He can say, “This offense is in no way acceptable and I take full responsibility for that.”
October 5th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
He could say "we are happy to come away with the win today and we have some things to work on on offense."
October 5th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
”We’re still struggling with some new concepts but we’re confident with what we’re trying to do. With more reps we’ll get better results.” ??
October 5th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
We can only hope but at this point he might be becoming delusional.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
I think Jim is right for the job, but college coaches do publicly criticize their teams even after wins. Saban, eg, does it often. And Mike Leach lost his damn mind on his players after that ridiculous loss.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:47 PM ^
By the looks of Gattis chatting with Nico about finding the sticks....yeah, behind the scenes the staff has much more to say.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:24 PM ^
Harbaugh is on crack. The O is atrocious when it matters - and even when it doesn’t matter. Goodness, that was inept O when it matters.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:25 PM ^
Head in the sand.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:26 PM ^
This is a joke right???
October 5th, 2019 at 4:27 PM ^
Are these real?
October 5th, 2019 at 4:28 PM ^
Oh boy
October 5th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
Y’all are stupid if you think Harbaugh is going to say anything negative about his team to the media. The media is the enemy. They love you when your winning handedly and they they criticize you win you barely win. I don’t care if he is a great commentator. Just win the game.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:38 PM ^
It’s one thing to say nothing negative in public, and support your team. It’s another to say the offense is hitting their stride in every way. It just sounds inauthentic, and I’d think even the players would sense that. If I’m a recruit (especially a skilled position athlete) watching the game and reading that quote I’d run if Harbaugh’s version of hitting their stride, or firing on all cylinders was todays performance.
It’s honestly hard for me to even believe this was said man. It sounds so off.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
I get it, I just don’t think Harbaugh cares what the media says or even what we think. Also, recruits will meet the real Harbaugh and the rest of the coaches, which most of us will never meet. I doubt this comment is going to change anything about our recruiting...
