Happy Memorial Weekend Posbang!!
mmmmm - Maryland Blue Crabs and beer. Which interrogation room will you be using?
Brisket! I got a Camp Chef electric smoker a week ago and will be trying my first brisket tomorrow! Any tips for a rookie??
Also...
I think most people could use a good rub now and then.
smoker, scotch, and cigars...
Don't be a work robot - enjoy the long weekend!
It's a great race, don't miss your start time. The race is incredibly well-run (no pun). I came out from New York, met up with a fellow Michigan alum who came in from Rochester Hills and stayed with another Michigan alum in Boulder. I think you will hear plenty of Go Blue on your run. Enjoy it!
I'm in an underground particle accelerator blasting proteins with high-intensity X-rays.
The work week is almost over.
That looks like one of my ex-girlfriend's brother.
I watched this in the UK when I lived there. Way more cringe worthy than the American version.
Remember those who served, and especially those who gave their lives.
on your birthday???
and will have/teach the kids 4 days of fairly short self-defense classes.
you all have a great holiday weekend, and do not forget what and why we have a 'memorial day' holiday. uncounted brave souls gave their lives that we might have this freedom. our job is to try and preserve it, not squander it.
Ha! You're not fooling us, Magnus.
Gonna go ahead with "No Thanks."
Touch The Boner, amirite????
Girl, I can't even dream about wearing mine. My muffin top has turned into a bundt cake.
Getting ready to pack up from a week long vacation at an Orlando resort. Will make the 2 hour drive back home to enjoy the holiday weekend.
MRW I stumble upon an RCMB thread
Thanks for the reminder/lesson. You are spot on.
Also, thank you for your service.
But you can still have a happy day. There's honor in service and dedication to service.
point of what Vet's day is for.
For better or for worse, Memorial Day is the more or less unofficial official kick-off to summer. It's a having a good time kind of holiday, while hopefully setting aside some time to remember why we can have a good time.
I completely agree that this is not a day to thank a veteran or recognize veterans for their service, because "service" is a puny thing compared to the intended purpose of the day. It's not about the living veterans.
I have a 12 pack of each of the following:
Shorts The Curl
Shorts Melt My Brain
DarkHorse Smells Like A Safety Meeting
DarkHorse Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotty Karate
Bells Oatsmobile
Bells Oberon
Bells Cherry Stout
Arcadia Cereal Killer
And a brick of PBR for the weaklings.
Kicking off a 4 day weekend with a little R&R. Looking forward to some libations and ribs on the grill. But let us not forget the reason for this day and take some time out of our day Monday and remeber the fallen. Their ultimate sacrifice has afforded us the capability to enjoy the activities which we post here and so many other thing that we take for granted.
