Happy 15 year anniversary Mgoblog users and blog.
Around this time 15 years ago Mgoblog switched from the .org site to the .com. Happy anniversary to all you lurkers and posters of such an awesome site. Thank you to Brian, Seth and the others for all the years of hard work.
I wholeheartedly agree with your timing. 12 years and 9 months ago.
If I recall correctly, I saw MGoBlog referenced in a story on a national media website, possibly the New York Times, or something like that. I started reading the blog and haven’t stopped. I’m not sure what prompted me to create an account, but one of my first comments was to ask about MIKE JONES.
MGrow I will always be thankful to you...as it reminds me there is someone older and in worse health then myself on this Blog.
You have made me think and laugh more times then I can count.
What was I doing with all that spare time 16 years ago?
Many thanks to the proprietors of this fantastic experience...and it is an experience.
Over the years, my true love has always been there for me.
found this place looking for Sam McGuffie updates back in 2008... signed up for an account in 2009... been around ever since...
lived through all of the RR melt downs
all of the depth charts threads
the Crex saga
and the great Mcfarlin blasting by Brian which exposed Mcfarlin's love of bulldogs...
Ditto, but lurked for a bit longer before creating an account. To this day I rarely ever post, but visit the site multiple times per day for years.
Happy Birthday Mgoblog

Wow. Im old. Feels like just recently we passed the ten year mark
...but you're getting younger every day. I think that's how the saying goes.
"Ah, but I was so much older then.
I'm younger than that now"
- Bob Dylan
Congrats on the achievement! Makes me feel old, but then, maybe I am.
I don't even recall when I started spending time here. But signed up when Brian posted an article on Cricket, the game :)

You are the King lurker here.
Being a fan during the 2008 season was tough, but a little less tough with the blog.
Exactly. It was like going to a bar full of people depressed for exactly the same reason as you. Which is weirdly therapeutic.
I still remember when they made that ass LSA a mod...
What were they thinking?

Fuck...
hey you helped me out when Seth shadow banned me back in 2014 by accident...
Appreciate all of the work you have put into the MGoBlog experience!
Been lurking for years! It's my favorite site. I wish we still had the app. That was the best!
You're doing a great job.
Only 14 years and 8 months for me. I registered at some point to make what I'm sure was as riveting a comment as this one is.
Gosh ..it's been that long. Happy Anniversary indeed
Feliz cumpleanos MGoBlog. I've learned a lot here, laughed a bunch, got angry a bunch, rolled my eyes more than once or twice, but generally have had a rip roaring time. Good job to all those involved in its inception and upkeep.
Wendy your a Chicago Lib but I forgive you.
15 years of douchey mgoblog users, here’s to another 15
Hey now. Shout out to all the old school folks.
Thanks babe
Joe-appreciate all the times you make me smile.
Thank you everyone for providing a sports page substitute.
I once laughed so hard that coffee came out my nose. I felt like I was in kindergarten again.
Was told about this site by a colleague during the summer of 2008 and lurked for two years before finally creating an avatar and starting to contribute. The last refuge of sane bulletin-board conversation on the interwebs.
You created one of my all-time favorite avatars.
I used to be an MLive reader until someone told me about this site, and I have never looked back.
Has it really been that long? Wow. How time flies.
Another Michigan grad, guy working in my office told me about it prior. After My dad died a dozen years ago I signed in. I have enjoyed it very much.
Only seems like 12 years to me ....
Congrats! Came from the cesspool MLive that was nothing more than a troll factory policed by Spartans.
Happy MGoAnniversary.
Just joined today but to the old timers, congrats!
Just celebrated my 5th anniversary here, I joined for no other reason than to make a joke about how Zach Charbonnet's name sounds like a wine. That there are folks here -- a LOT of folks here -- who've been posting for 15 years is humbling, and that there are people who've been steering the ship that long verges on mind-blowing.
Happy Anniversary to MGoBlog -- one of the best sites on the internet, and it consistently has been. Thanks to Brian, Seth, and everyone else for providing superior content and discussion for so long!!
Best to all of you!
This was the first sports blog I discovered. I remember being so impressed with the depth and quality of the writing and analysis. I remember thinking, "Wow! This is great! I should go find similar blogs for the other sports teams I like!" Still searching for those....
So glad I found mgoblog. So ticked that it was my original benchmark.
Gonna be a football season for the ages! My MGoBrethren definitely help me get through long work days! Happy Friday!!
13 years and 7 months of appreciation!
You deserve much more then a breakfast at Angelo's and I hope the kid looks like your beautiful ex-wife.
If anyone has kept a list of significant contributors to the blog that we know have passed this would be a good time to list. I hope I am mistaken but for some reason I gravitated toward MgoShoe and I believe he is no longer with us in life or blog.
Thank you, mgoblog, for being dope. All y’all are dope.
