Got your B1G Ten Championship Tickets?

Submitted by schlep4UM on November 4th, 2018 at 12:47 PM

I heard Michael Spath on WTKA discuss getting tickets for the Championship Dec. 1st. I bought mine and was pleasantly surprised at the prices. Less expensive than big games at the Big House. Just passing it along, believing that a) we'll continue winning and b) we as Michigan fans will vastly outnumber the opposing fanbase in Indy.

I hope so. Already seeing plenty of "The Big Ten's down this year, only reason Michigan's winning" from State fans. So you're telling us if the Big Ten were "up" you'd be going 3-9 again?

Expecting/ Hoping a pathologically jealous fan base will give our team credit is a fruitless endeavor.  They know the truth in their hearts and so do we. Michigan is historically and presently better than them - their accomplishments historically and presently are not comparable to ours. Enjoy that reality, but don’t expect them to verbally acknowledge it.

And they have the smallest fan base in the B1G. If Michigan can close the deal, it would be a virtual home game, and tickets would be easier to obtain than normal B1G Championship games.

Odds are still only around 50-60%. The advanced stats actually have Northwestern worse than their record so I don't think it is a lock they will win 2 of their next 3. Winning @Iowa next week would almost clinch it though. S&P+ has them as a +7 to +10 point underdog to @Iowa and around a pick 'em against @Minnesota.

What about the National Championship Game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara? Have you bought your tickets for that yet? Do you expect Michigan fans to vastly outnumber Clemson fans?

I do. 7 of us pulled the trigger during the 3rd Qtr. last night. $165 Never been to Indy. So regardless we will go and have a good time. Beat Rutgers first though....

Indeed. This team seems extremely focused. I think there is a very obvious difference between we as fans looking ahead and the players or coaches looking ahead. Our looking ahead has no bearing on the outcome of the games, the players coaches is of course a different story. GO BLUE!

Wasn't really paying attention when I bought my Purdue v UM bball tickets for Dec 1, no regrets. I'll just have to find a cozy spot in AA to watch the football game after we wax Purdue.

Has anyone put down a “deposit” using the ShooWin.com site that the B10 is partnered with? They advertised it as being able to put down “as little as $10” to reserve tickets “if your team goes.” But now it looks like it’s $50 since Michigan’s odds are better. So you’d put down $50 a ticket, if UM goes to the game you get the tickets at face value, but if they don’t go, then you lose $50 a ticket.

Anyway, I’m not going to do it but was curious if anyone else has.

We still have to beat O-State man. Obviously haven't won in Columbus since 2000 so it's no lock. Osu has looked like hot garbage, but The Game is The Game. I'd like for Msu to get them out of the way next weekend, but it feels like it'll come down to Nov 24th. Michigan is the better team right now but we can't count our chickens before they hatch.

Recommendations regarding using the UM bowl game tickets or getting tix another way?

Can you end up getting cheaper or better seats than reserving bowl game tix through the offer from UM for those with priority points?
