Got your B1G Ten Championship Tickets?
I heard Michael Spath on WTKA discuss getting tickets for the Championship Dec. 1st. I bought mine and was pleasantly surprised at the prices. Less expensive than big games at the Big House. Just passing it along, believing that a) we'll continue winning and b) we as Michigan fans will vastly outnumber the opposing fanbase in Indy.

I haz free?

No, you pay in eucalyptus leaves!

I hope so. Already seeing plenty of "The Big Ten's down this year, only reason Michigan's winning" from State fans. So you're telling us if the Big Ten were "up" you'd be going 3-9 again?

The conference is certainly down, but we're crushing teams. It's not like we're merely winning. We're dominating. If team's were better, we'd still be winning, but maybe not by such large margins.

Expecting/ Hoping a pathologically jealous fan base will give our team credit is a fruitless endeavor. They know the truth in their hearts and so do we. Michigan is historically and presently better than them - their accomplishments historically and presently are not comparable to ours. Enjoy that reality, but don’t expect them to verbally acknowledge it.

It's Sparty. Don't try to talk sense into them.
Besides, they've already got a brutal dilemma to face this weekend.
November 4th, 2018 at 2:22 PM ^
Are Michigan fans caught in a dilemma as well?
I get that if we win out, making the playoffs is a near certainty. So, OSU winning at Sparty would not impact that. But, if Sparty were to win, I personally think it would be nice to know that at the least a spot in the BIG Championship game was clinched.

Don’t forget. Our downfall defines MSU’s entire existence so they will likely throw the game against their good friends OSU. It also better serves their recruiting interests for OSU to keep topping us. Dantonio will throw the game. Book it.

Some people might think this is a joke, but this is real. A couple of years ago when we weren't that great, if we would have beaten THEEEEE ohio, staee would have gone to a better bowl game. Mike DanTony wanted us to still lose, thereby worsening his team's bowl selection. What a fucking assclown.
November 4th, 2018 at 3:29 PM ^
Uhh, did you just call him an assclown?
FauxMo, you just gonna sit here and take that?
November 4th, 2018 at 12:55 PM ^
Curious how much you got it for and what were your seats?
November 4th, 2018 at 1:09 PM ^
I got mine on ebay, about 150 per seat. There are lots there, but the prices are starting to go up. GO BLUE!

The West representative will almost certainly be Northwestern. Good chance they'll be there with a 7-5 record, too. That's crazy.
November 4th, 2018 at 1:46 PM ^
And they have the smallest fan base in the B1G. If Michigan can close the deal, it would be a virtual home game, and tickets would be easier to obtain than normal B1G Championship games.
Odds are still only around 50-60%. The advanced stats actually have Northwestern worse than their record so I don't think it is a lock they will win 2 of their next 3. Winning @Iowa next week would almost clinch it though. S&P+ has them as a +7 to +10 point underdog to @Iowa and around a pick 'em against @Minnesota.

So there's this team called Ohio State that we haven't beaten in Columbus since Moby Dick was a minnow...

I’m for maybe once in my life rooting like hell for MSU this weekend. If MSU wins on Saturday, that’s when I’m doing my buying
November 4th, 2018 at 1:49 PM ^
Yeah. An msu win next weekend and we are in.
November 4th, 2018 at 1:07 PM ^
What about the National Championship Game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara? Have you bought your tickets for that yet? Do you expect Michigan fans to vastly outnumber Clemson fans?
November 4th, 2018 at 1:08 PM ^
Bad juju. Real bad. You should stop.
November 4th, 2018 at 1:13 PM ^
Or maybe you mentioning that it is bad juju, is in fact bad juju.
November 4th, 2018 at 1:09 PM ^
I do. 7 of us pulled the trigger during the 3rd Qtr. last night. $165 Never been to Indy. So regardless we will go and have a good time. Beat Rutgers first though....
November 4th, 2018 at 1:18 PM ^
Indeed. This team seems extremely focused. I think there is a very obvious difference between we as fans looking ahead and the players or coaches looking ahead. Our looking ahead has no bearing on the outcome of the games, the players coaches is of course a different story. GO BLUE!
November 4th, 2018 at 1:18 PM ^
What section of the stadium did $165 get you?
November 4th, 2018 at 1:26 PM ^
245. Pretty decent seats.

Wasn't really paying attention when I bought my Purdue v UM bball tickets for Dec 1, no regrets. I'll just have to find a cozy spot in AA to watch the football game after we wax Purdue.
November 4th, 2018 at 3:31 PM ^
Has anyone put down a “deposit” using the ShooWin.com site that the B10 is partnered with? They advertised it as being able to put down “as little as $10” to reserve tickets “if your team goes.” But now it looks like it’s $50 since Michigan’s odds are better. So you’d put down $50 a ticket, if UM goes to the game you get the tickets at face value, but if they don’t go, then you lose $50 a ticket.
Anyway, I’m not going to do it but was curious if anyone else has.

We still have to beat O-State man. Obviously haven't won in Columbus since 2000 so it's no lock. Osu has looked like hot garbage, but The Game is The Game. I'd like for Msu to get them out of the way next weekend, but it feels like it'll come down to Nov 24th. Michigan is the better team right now but we can't count our chickens before they hatch.

Recommendations regarding using the UM bowl game tickets or getting tix another way?
Can you end up getting cheaper or better seats than reserving bowl game tix through the offer from UM for those with priority points?
November 5th, 2018 at 2:28 AM ^
Bought a pair on Ticketmaster right after the MSU game. $75 plus fees. A risk worth taking.
