Based on recent Gameday history, wouldn’t it make more sense for them to go with somebody completely unrelated to either team? Give me Fred Armisen for no reason

Plus we’re the home team, so fuck that

How and who does this make cocky?  Seems like a reasonable pick.  No real reason to have another Michigan man there with Des.  Anyone will be better than the guy they had at the UM/anOSU game.

Yes, when they started talking about the Orange Bowl.  Negandi and Booger were saying Michigan is not going to abandon the run like Pollack suggested they should.  Pollack kept interrupting them saying Michigan is going to get crushed if they try and threw in a couple “you’re not listening to me!”  I haven’t seen him on since.

I have nothing wrong with this in the abstract (seems like a solid choice for a guest picker), but why the hell does UGA get someone that makes sense while we get randos with no connection whatsoever to Michigan?

I like how every other team that hosts gameday gets to have a celebrity guest picker that has an association with the home team, while the only gameday that Michigan hosts, they get Sebastian Manisculo, who has no association with Michigan. And of course, even though Michigan is #2, they have a Georgia alum as the gameday picker. ESPN blows.

I mostly just care that they get relevant guest versus obscure people like we had for the game against the team from Ohio.
This one particularly is good with me. Have been a big Goldberg fan for a long time. Not really into wrestling anymore, but I was in my younger days and have Goldberg’s tribal tattoo on my back. He lives about 45 minutes from me and his son plays baseball for the same organization as my son. He is actually a good dude, and into fast cars which I like as well. Obviously the Georgia connection this week isn’t ideal but ESPN could have done much worse in their choice. They can have 5 Georgia alumni on gameday for all I care, it isn’t going to change the beat down we are going to put on them and put Bama on notice!
