A good win - I like the way they went right up the middle to close it all out when RU knew what was coming. If there was another couple of minutes, they could go A-gap into the endzone...

Mop up... The entire world knew Harbaugh would close it out by rushing the power through the A-gaps, and still Rutger couldn't stop it. I like that.

That may have been the shortest game in modern Michigan history. The previous shortest game since 2009 was 2:51, also against Rutgers in 2018.

Great win, emotional win but we are sticking it to the competition. They are forced to play us honestly. I love all of these players for what they are doing because they are all playing to what the coaches are asking. GG and good weekend to you guys here.

23 points on the defense in 4 games, 10 against the 3rd string and 7 on basically 1 play. I think the hand-wringing is a little overdone.

It's warranted. We look like absolute shit for a good portion of every game. We play soooooo slow. Short games. Very few possession. Winning on pure talent while getting in our own way still. Washington would beat us by 28 points.

This effort loses to PSU and OSU and probably another team. Still good enough for now and for the next several games against the ass big ten.

PSU sputtered initially in their OOC games as well.
OSU looks human for the first time in a decade and still has 2-Ls in a row vs. the good guys.
I wouldn't play Rutgers as hard as I play PSU/OSU and I doubt our players will either.
Take the near-shutout in the conference opener. Wins aren't ever easy.

Same, there's definitely been a lack of excitement. The pace is so slow and can be hard to watch with these runs up the gut so much.

He looks like more of a backup RB than Donovan at this point. Donovan’s a fantastic receiver though.

We improved from last week.
No turnovers instead of 4. Rutgers is much better than BGSU and we beat Rutgers by basically the same score and a slightly bigger yardage margin of difference.

UM ran for over 200 yards. Rutgers scored on the third play of the game, then never got close again to a TD. UM, for first time this season matched the spread. UM's best game this season. Rutgers' is a bowl-bound team.
