Michigan travels to Champaign to face the Illini. The broadcast begins at 7:00 pm EST on ESPN.
Though Purdue leads the conference standings by two games, the race for second is tight. Our Wolverines are in second place in the conference with an 11-7 record, a half game ahead of seven other teams who have 8 losses.
A lot of comments in different threads. It’s as close to a “must win” as there is, if the team hopes to Dance in a couple of weeks.

Everyone is just trying to do way too much with the ball tonight. Not moving it, trying to dribble and shoot into double teams, etc
If Illinois had a true point guard, they would run us off the court. They're much more athletic than us, and their players can actually hold onto the ball.

Well this offensive drought should finally quell the screeching about playing Reed as the 4 full time. The spacing is awful, they can’t run the depth of sets they need to stress the defense, and Dickinson cannot play as the 4 on offense.
