Game thread: Mens Hoops - Michigan at Indiana - 4:30 pm EST tip

Submitted by Amazinblu on March 5th, 2023 at 3:46 PM

The mens hoops team wraps up their regular season at Indiana, broadcast on CBS with an approximately 4:30 pm EST tip-off.

It’s as close to a “must win” as possible, with other action - both inside the B1G and other conference’s play - influencing which teams are in, almost in, on the bubble, last four in, first four out, etc…

Assembly Hall has a lot of history between the Maize & Blue and the Hoosiers.

Hoping for solid play and a win.

Indiana could literally be paying Tschetter to blow the game, and he could not be doing worse in each phase of the game.

He has had position 3 times for the rebound but amazingly it goes to a Hoosier outside position.

Jett needs to play within the offense, the early off balance 3s and 1 on 3 rim drives are not needed. The first in rhythm 3 pointer was swished, more of that please!

On one hand, that was kind of a shitty start.  On the other hand, Indiana went all “big scary start” on us and it wasn’t that big or scary.

Jett misses free throw, then turns ball over, and I stead of rushing back to prevent the 2 on 1 he pouts to the ref the way down. Anyone else have a problem with this. ?

So... Is reed hurt? Howard's return honestly took away some of the high energy and effort we had been playing with... I know he's coming off an injury. But he's a step slow and seems to lackadaisical with the ball

Why would you just watch the ball roll out of bounds when you are standing right next to it??  Why leave it to chance?  Where is the hustle??

I do not understand not picking up that basketball! It’s rolling right at you and you give the officiating crew the opportunity to give IU the ball? Pick it up and play.

I just can’t believe a player is allowed to turn ball over and then jog back to the other end.

Gotta be smarter TWill, even if you saw the ball go off the guy's foot, pick it up if you can.

Don't leave the chance for the refs to be the clowns that they are.
