Game Thread - Men's Hoops - Michigan at MSU - 9:00 pm tip - Peacock

The Maize & Blue men's hoops team tips off against the Spartans in East Lansing this evening.

The game is scheduled to start at 9:00 pm and will be broadcast on Peacock.

I don't know if this will be a welcome distraction from the other discussions around the football team's coaching decisions, NIL, Warde, etc.   But, if you'd like to comment - here's a spot.

The Spartans are favored by 12.5 points.

If there's a silver lining - the game's on Peacock, which should mean that not many people will tune in.

Go Blue!

Fuck Juwan being a distinguished alumni and all, Warde needs to get up off his massively fat ass and fire him to signal to the potential future coaches that Michigan’s head coach position is open.

But that would require Warde to actually do something. And he’s not going to fire Juwan because He’S a MiCHIgan mAN

I never thought I'd see Michigan Basketball revert back the same levels of ineptitude we saw in the 2000s, but here we are. This team looks so bad. Hopelessly bad. That's not to say the talent isn't there. They just look totally lost.

I have not watched any games since December. They were off to a good start and had some tough losses but now it seems like blowout losses during conference play This is even worse than the Amaker years. I'm sure Juan will be given another year or two to turn things around but not sure if he can unless he can hire some great assistant coaches to help him out with the college game. I'm glad I did not watch this game.

This was the concern when we hired Howard. He had no track record as a head coach and many were against his hire.  We know that he cares about the school, and that he has plenty of NBA experience, but none of that necessarily transfers to building a winning program. This truly is Warde's fault for putting a guy in position to fail.
