I agree about penn state's coach, but he never coached at Miami. I think you're thinking of George Gwozdecky

Much as I regret breaking a potentially amusing chain of comments here, need to actually clarify who is who:
Blasi coached at Miami. Gwoz coached at Denver (and took our locker room in 2002). Gadowsky coached for Alaska-Fairbanks.
Gwozdecky coached at Miami in the early 90's, but Blasi was definitely more unlikable. And I say that as a Miami alum and fan who appreciates the heights Blasi took the team to.
