It's that time of year again, when those of us living close to Woodward either get out of town or spend the weekend trapped in our homes.

For those of you going to the Woodward Dream Cruise, be safe, have fun, and keep your booze out of sight.

Also don't pee on the side of my house.

My first car was a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass very similar to the one above.  It had a bench seat, an AM radio, and a 350 Rocket V8.

Last night she tells me she wished it was Monday because i have tuesday off. I'm all like 'it's Thursday and i have Saturday and Sunday off, Friday is much better than Monday.' Friday, indeed.

I think my little brother holds the distance record for stroller jumping for a 3 year old. I was ten, my older brother was 13 and we were heavily influenced by Evel Knievel. The last attempt the front wheels caught first and he went face first into the ground. We thought we killed him. I'm sure it was on a friday.

We can't have a Posbang thread until... Never mind. I've lived in three homes in Birmingham during the life of the Cruise and have learned both how to enjoy it and how to avoid it. I'd recommend bringing an out-of-town guest to the Cruise so you can experience it thru new and excited eyes.

Strangely, I am not at the office this time around, but on a small vacation - we're coming back today though, and after we return, we're going to take care of actual yard things now that the damn thing is green-ish again. 

I need football to arrive and soon really. I don't know how much longer I can stand "Can we go on another Pokewalk?" every hour or so, as if we haven't cleaned out the neighborhood yet of Pokemon. How many Beedrills does one need? If you're my daughter, that would be "all the Beedrills".

Doing research on various weapons, from bolas to vehicle weapons.  One of the biggest challenges to making an enjoyable system is to combine as many exciting elements you might find in fact or fiction with game balance and survivability.  So I'm not quite sure what to do about this:
