In August I will be working…

In August I will be working towards my MA in Global Risk at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.  Much like "huntmich" the program is not full time and allows you to work full time.  It's all online except for two weeks when you work in person with your cohort on a capstone project for the first week and the second week is the capstone project presentation and graduation.  It's a total of 21 weeks.

I came to this decision based upon my past work history.  I've been a Federal Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration for 15 years.  I'm a GS-14 with the title of Inspector as I'm currently assigned to HQ's Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) which is like DEA's Internal Affairs.   Prior to that I was assigned to the New York, Washington DC, and New Jersey Field Divisions.  While in NJ, I worked a lot of narco-terrorism cases (See Project Cassandra) and really loved the international aspect of my work, hence pursuing the MA at Hopkins.  Prior to that, I was an Assistant District Attorney in NY primarily doing narcotics cases.  After my last murder trial, I'd pretty much had it with that career.  I got lucky, DEA called, and I was off to Quantico.

Spaz, don't be afraid to start school, pursue an interest, or change careers if that is what makes you feel fulfilled.  I'm a small sample size, but so far it has worked out for me.

Great topic!  Long time …

Great topic!  Long time (suffering) Vikings fan here.  The 1999 NFC Championship Game stings to this day.  High flying offense, Randy Moss, a kicker who didn't miss all season, and the game was at home.  Well, the kicker missed, and the Falcons went to the Superbowl.  Vikings probably would've lost to Elway's Broncos also, but still...  That game sucked!

Hi mediocracy 2 and 3. Thats

Hi mediocracy 2 and 3. Thats right you're the same sad little OSU troll from last year. Same m.o. and same user name that twists a "harbaughism" into a negative. Last year it was your take on the meritocracy and now its the spilled milk user name.

Your posting history is the same, all about OSU greatness and backhanded swipes at Michigan. It is sad really. You've had your run on here for a month now give it up. Its funny how you disappear for a week after the Iowa loss and now here you are.

But why not embrace your fandom? OSU posters like buckeyee john Ross and scarlatina are welcomed and defended here. Why skulk around with this pathetic charade?

Wow, this must have been

Wow, this must have been difficult for you to write reliving those raw emotions. Nevertheless, I hope you found some measure of catharsis from this post. I'm sure Jason was aware of what great friends and teammates he had.

Thank you for sharing.

You have to make a game out

You have to make a game out of it to try and figure out which previously banned poster it is.  For instance, is Dapainufeel truthbetold or the recently outed Heywood_Jablowme?  I'm going with Jablowme considering the tired old "I'm a Michigan fan, but look how great OSU is comment."

Great topic OP!  This is one

Great topic OP!  This is one of the reasons I love this blog for non-sports related discussions.

So I happened upon the conspiracy theory proposed by David Icke.  It has a kind of New Age/Vampire twist in that the world is being controlled by shape changing aliens that look like reptiles.  In order to maintain their appearance as human they have to drink human blood.  Icke says that the British Royal Family, Pharohs, and the Rothschilds, to name a few are all members of this .  Icke also also borrows from a lot of pre-existing conspiracy theories like the Illuminati and the Tri-lateral Commision and incorporates them into his belief.  It's like a smorgasboard of paranoia.

Seconded. It's also a fairly

Seconded. It's also a fairly high burden for appellate counsel to overcome. Short of trial counsel falling asleep during the proceedings or a really catastrophic fatal mistake, these are rarely successful.

The best thing about this

The best thing about this video is that it is 31 to 7 with less than two minutes left in the third quarter and Harbaugh is still on the refs.  Gotta love this coach.

During my senior year of high

During my senior year of high school my best friend and I took my 1987 Buick Skylark (two-tone grey) to the mall. That doesn't seem particularly unusual, however, it was the middle of winter after a heavy snowstorm.  The outer parking lot at the Garden State Plaza was plowed, but the snow was stacked up in a few piles all over the lot.  The low temperatures had turned these piles of snow rock solid unbeknownst to me.

So, I decided to drive over the piles of snow and went up a particularly steep one and didn't come down.  I had managed to get stuck on the top of the pile of snow and also rip off the front air damn.  My friend and I tried everything to get the car off the snow pile from jumping up and down on the front and rear end to urinating on the snow to melt it.  All the while we were hoping the cops or mall security didn't show up.

After we ran out energy and urine we decided to call another buddy to help us out.  This was before the days of cell phones so I had to walk to the mall and use the pay phone.  My buddy told me we was late for a basketball game and split.

My other friend showed up and pushed me off the snow bank only after my car started to backslide into his front hood and windshield.  I invisioned him being decapitated as the car slid.  Fortunately the car slid away from his and down the snow pile.  I did 90 out of the lot.

Later that evening when my father came home from work and I watched him walk from bus stop to our driveway, he stopped and looked at my car for a good minute.  I guess he was thinking something looked off but couldn't figure it out.  Thankfully he never found out.

I later totaled that car while taking a girlfriend to the beauty salon on Union Street in Lodi.

Good times.

Thanks for the response, you

Thanks for the response, you split the baby nicely!  Would you consider Florida's pitching on par with Kentucky?

Question for the OP.  Does the old addage good pitching beats good hitting apply in softball?  It would make sense in your endorsement of Kentucky.

Anyway, great job by the women this year!  I am looking forward to a deep playoff run.

You said Dwunfour's size is a limiting factor. However, at 280+ if he added ten pounds of "good" weight would that enable him to be an effective interior def lineman?

I agree with your points

I agree with your points about the Partridge pipeline.  However, growing up in the same county in New Jersey as Paramus, PC was not traditionally a powerhouse program and I think it has enjoyed success recently.  St. Joe's in Montvale was probably a top three program with DBP and BC.  This does prove your point that Partridge built PC into a what presently is a perennial powerhouse in the state.
