I think that’s almost certainly it. Even 5 or so years ago I feel like the Thursday matchups were way better. The NFL is okay for me, but I wish they didn’t feel the need to get their grubby hands all over what was traditionally a college day.

Go Nebraska. 2 reasons.
1) I just do not like the Illinois fanbase
2) There are weird 3-way tiebreaker scenarios involving 3 potential 1-loss UM, PSU, OSU where each goes 1-1 against the other 2. Tiebreaker is best winning percentage among big ten opponents. Given we all play all of the B1G East, that boils down to rooting for your B1G West opponents to win all of their games

Modification of 2):
Root against your BIG West opponent when you play them. Root against all BIG West teams that you don't play. We don't play Iowa, Wisconsin and Northwestern, so we want them to have inferior records to bolster our chances under Tiebreaker 3.

This seems to confirm that they are. But the letter Tucker’s lawyer released publicly the other day was heavily redacted. So we don’t know context.
This involved her dead assistant phone. The assistant who, when she was alive, had provided evidence to the investigator supporting Tracy.

Witherspoon was Woodson’esque for them.
He shut down half the field in the pass game, and an entire edge in the run game. He’s already looking like an all-pro in the NFL.
Just Witherspoon + a good’ish D-line was enough to make the Illini a teally good but not quite elite defense last year. Players like that are very rare.
