Is someone going to tell these announcers it was ruled a pass on the field?
September 18th, 2021 at 11:58 PM ^
Penn State looks like a scary team- Clifford only 4 incompletes? Dang.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:13 AM ^
Good yes, scary no,that is reserved for teams like Bama.
September 20th, 2021 at 5:16 PM ^
Okay scary to us when we face a qb who can’t throw an incomplete- but again I guess most qb’s have the game of their lives against Michigan in big games
September 19th, 2021 at 12:11 AM ^
They need to make QB's two hand touch and be done with this nonsense in both college and the pros.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:44 AM ^
It’s insane! If you go low it’s a penalty. If you go high and hit the Qb with your pinky it’s a penalty. Don’t land on him or drive him to the ground. Just put flags on their waist and be done.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:52 AM ^
Exactly it's just getting to the point where what the hell is the defender supposed to do half the time short of intentionally not trying to sack the Qb. You would think defenders at some point would just say we are fed up with it and not playing until you just put flags on these guys or make it two hand touch on them.

Boise gets screwed on a ref whistle.
brady hoke has SDSU as 3-0 after beating Utah. I know it’s fun to beat him up, but My hot take is to wonder what he could have done if Dave Brandon wasn’t around meddling.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:18 AM ^
Did Brandon make Hoke try and play Denard under center or cause 27 yards on 27 rushes? Or Gardner to get half killed against MSU twice? Brandon sucked but make no mistake about it Hoke was in over his head here. Absolutely nothing would have changed that. He is decent as a coach in a small pond though.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:52 AM ^
It’s questionable Hoke ever walks to Michigan without Brandon.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:58 AM ^
My point exactly. Brandon sucked and made a bad hire but in no way does that mean Hoke would have been magically suited for the UM job with any other AD either.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:18 AM ^
Refs hosed Boise State. They blew dead a play where Oklahoma State fumbled and Boise returned it for a TD to take the lead with 3 minutes to play. Call was overturned but Boise only got the ball, no return yardage or TD. Then they miss a FG on the ensuing drive. CFB needs full-time, professional refs.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:47 AM ^
As a long suffering Lions fan, I can attest to full time refs not making a difference.

So about that UCLA hype train….
September 19th, 2021 at 12:34 AM ^
So far it's been a bit different for Zach and the boys.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:37 AM ^
UCLA in trouble at halftime. Down 23-10 to Fresno State
September 19th, 2021 at 12:45 AM ^
Not really that surprising, Fresno gave Oregon everything they wanted in week 1.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:57 AM ^
The sequence that just happened in the Arizona State and BYU game was crazy.
September 19th, 2021 at 12:57 AM ^
ASU picks the BYU QB and returns it 99% of the way to the house before fumbling it. BYU ball.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:19 AM ^
Unreal fumble by UCLA.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:22 AM ^
I’ve never seen such a horribly prepared ASU team under edwards. 16 penalties.
Edit: A 17th penalty as I was making this post. Insanity.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:23 AM ^
ASU is melting down like they have never heard crowd noise before in their lives. Not to mention 5 or 6 broken plays in the backfield, I have never seen that many before. ASU's coaches should be downright embarrassed.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:27 AM ^
Charbonnet not it tonight
September 19th, 2021 at 1:30 AM ^
18 penalties now
September 19th, 2021 at 1:31 AM ^
ASU is totally melting down. Team was totally unprepared tonight.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:32 AM ^
Lol and ASU seals the game on a facemask penalty ripping someone's helmet. This is possibly the most undisciplined and unprepared I have seen a team in a game, unreal.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:33 AM ^
Man I was bummed when we didn’t land DTR but man he hasn’t been good so far.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:39 AM ^
There is giving a game away with a couple of mistakes and then there is whatever the hell ASU just did throughout that game. Truly some next level giving a game away.
September 19th, 2021 at 1:47 AM ^
ASU has 36 penalties and their 3rd game isn’t even over yet
September 19th, 2021 at 2:24 AM ^
Who’s watching the end of the UCLA game and thinks Fresno has too much time on the clock for UCLA to hold them off?
UPDATE: Yup. Worth staying up to watching this 4th quarter. UCLA goes up 4 with :50 left, Fresno gets a touchdown in :35 second drove. 450 yards passing by Fresno. Fun shit
September 19th, 2021 at 2:27 AM ^
Fresno State might be the 2nd best team in the PAC-12 /s
September 19th, 2021 at 2:26 AM ^
UCLA needs a miracle
September 19th, 2021 at 2:31 AM ^
What a gutty performance by the Fresno QB. Glad I stayed up to watch.
September 19th, 2021 at 2:35 AM ^
That Fresno St.-UCLA game was unbelievable. Wow, what a finish, and what a performance by Haener, Fresno's QB.
College football is madness, and that game was just....incredible.
September 19th, 2021 at 2:43 AM ^
6 teams in the Pac12 are 1-2 or worse. I know Oregon looked good last week, but that conference is butt.
By comparison, the 14-team B1G has only 3 such teams. Although Wisconsin could be #4 if they lose to ND next week.
September 19th, 2021 at 9:52 AM ^
A chunk of the losses by Pac-12 teams have been to teams not in a power 5 conferences.
