Great coordination for a 7 footer, makes up for limited athleticism. Really good handles, clever passer. Better outside shooter than inside, and he is much better driving to the hoop than posting up. Will probably struggle on defense a bit, how much so determines whether he is a good starter or a great offensive weapon off the bench.

I'd be interested in hearing the pros and cons between Wolf and Vladislav Goldin and which we think would be a better fit for the program.  Anyone have a better basketball mind than me and care to share their thoughts?

Because I'm reading through this thread, I have basketball on my mind.  So here we go...  Take both Wolf and Goldin, if we can.  Need lots of players, including a starting center and a backup center.  They can share those two positions.

Now you share in the great amount of basketball I have in my mind!

Your welcome...

I'm pretty sure Danny Wolf is the best basketball player in the history of my elementary school, Solomon Shecter Jewish Day School. 😀 Go Lions!

Presumably, if a kid is playing ball at Yale, he has other professional aspirations that have nothing to do basketball. Michigan is not in this position often, but if I'm this kid or his parents, I might question the wisdom in passing up the opportunity to get a degree from Yale and take a step down in academic prestige just to play basketball at a higher level.
