Not a traditional posbang, but anytime Coach Kryzskdaghdsaski and Grayson loses is worth a celebration. What a weekend!!

Neither has the sterling or prominent public image that Coach K has. He's a household name as this clean-cut ambassador of everything that's right about college sports, when he's just as vulgar, cutthroat, and shady as the rest of them behind closed doors.

don’t think that he is revered to the extent he used to be as this all knowing and all good entity the way he used to be. His handling of Grayson Allen’s antics and his conduct toward Dillon from Oregon and then lying about it took a little bit of shine off of him, I think. A couple of years ago he featured prominently on a bunch of commercials and I think he had his own Nike spot that ran for a while, you dont see that stuff anymore. He is still revered, but I think people got a little glimpse of his true nature and took note.

I feel better that presuming the minuscule chance we get past Loyola, there won’t be a zone-first defense to match up against in the final

I  have been watching teams fall of the shaded list on KenPom throughtout the tourrnament and this is interesting.

Someone on this blog previously noted that Kansas was a terrible seed at #1 but that some how they just keep winning.  I think they lose to Villanova but we will see.  This is an interesting final four for us.

1. Watch UM go to Final Four last night

2. Watch UM go to Frozen Four today

3. Watch Duke count on Grayson Allen to make the shots to win the game for them and watch him fail miserably, followed by Coach K's sorry sad mug.

4. Anything else on? Does this have to end?

Villanova admittedly had an off day and managed to survive. However, I didn't watch because I was driving home from LA, but I don't think Texas Tech just had enough talent to get them back in that game when they fell behind. They also didn't shoot the ball well on their end. I hadn't really seen them play but I remember when I researched them that while their defense was impressive like ours, their offense wasn't really anything special at all. I kept hearing that it was an unconventional win for Nova anyway. I still think if we stifle Villanova on defense, we have the talent that Texas Tech didn't have to find a way to win. If we get past Loyola, and they win too, of course. GO BLUE!!!

That was a horrible zone by Duke. How awful does your man to man have to be to go to that? If Bill Self wasn’t coaching Kansas it would have been a blowout. The Kansas offense was throwing lobs, when the middle 6 foot jump shot was open all day.
