Then they should get high school NIL money for proving themselves at that level.  That is a different story for another time that has already been rehashed.  Domani Jackson has proven himself at the college level.  He has not been elite, but has proven himself to be a solid starter.  I am not sure what Michigan's NIL pitch was to him, but it should have been NIL money from the day he sets foot on campus at Michigan to get his commitment.

Is it illegal if it’s never policed? In fact, Michigan’s stubbornness to operate how they see college football should be governed has turned the whole country against us. This is on UM for either not adapting or being cheap. Warde is also a huge detriment to NIL but Ono can’t fire him because power is spread among the academics. We’re screwed.

He was in the same class as Johnson which means he would have potentially lost a year's worth of credits. Maybe that was his motivation for transferring to Bama and not UM.

They are not different. There’s a period where transfers are on a “quiet period,” meaning they can have contact with coaches on campus but coaches can’t visit them at home or watch them play, while high schoolers are still on a dead period. But right now is a flat dead period for both recruits and transfers.

The caveat seems to be the NCAA defines “contact” as anything more than saying hello. All Saban is on video doing is quickly shaking his hand so probably not an actual violation.

Is the assumption that Dudek was the one that switched on Harbaugh?  If he did, that is a clown move on his part, and hopefully other programs think twice on hiring him if he becomes available again.  He is a high-risk employee in letting out any and all, even minor, violations to the NCAA.

*I just searched and someone posted on here in January that there was rumors Dudek was the source of informing the NCAA.  Yeah...he is an ass-clown.

So why can’t Michigan take a hint that rules aren’t policed, and then wanting to govern themselves and change college football into what they think it should be has turned everyone against us. It’s gotten to the point where I place the blame on UM for not adapting. We’ve already been exploited of having weak leadership. This continues to trend in the wrong direction. No fight back. Why doesn’t UM ask the NCAA of this is allowed?

Mentioned out of HS that this was quite literally tied for the biggest reason why he didn't choose UM. He hated the cold. His dad is from the area, he isn't. He was near miserable at the 2021 OSU v UM game. He's at The Game where his childhood favorite school is beating their rival. The atmosphere is insane. He's miserable and dressed like he's in Antarctica. He wasn't coming here. Sure, he arrived on the visit already set in not going to UM but that atmosphere didn't even budge the stance and the main thing I was told was weather based. I believe it was "not a chance" or similar regarding playing in the cold.
