This is less than middle school level entertaining. Wow.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
This is fun. Both teams suck but I'm entertained.

Nebraska takes a time out on a 3rd and 7 when they should be running clock. Brilliant.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
It's going to be hilarious if Nebraska wins this game and temporarily finds themselves in first place in the West.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:38 PM ^
This head ref puts himself in the worst spots making the stadium announced penalties
October 7th, 2022 at 10:39 PM ^
Nebraska with a holding penalty to negate the 1st down that would've iced the game. The player went out of bounds to stop the clock.
OH MY GOD, MAKE IT STOP!
October 7th, 2022 at 10:39 PM ^
I'm calling Rutgers gets a guy open down the seam for at least a FG range attempt coming up.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:40 PM ^
Rutgers punt returner goes straight to his knees. He had room to run.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:40 PM ^
Dude had running room and catches the punt on his knees.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
Wow dude had it right...that ball was tipped. Whoa.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
That ball was tipped. Can't be DPI.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
They can just stop the game for a tipped pass??? Ugh. Tipped balls. Huh huh
October 7th, 2022 at 10:43 PM ^
Actually a good game between bad teams.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:45 PM ^
Your Big Ten West leaders: the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:45 PM ^
What was that throw? didn't even see a rutgers guy near that pick. If it wasn't intercepted it would be intentional grounding.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:45 PM ^
Russell Wilson said, hold my beer.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:45 PM ^
Devin...the ball was literally thrown to him.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:46 PM ^
I think announcers generally have to have the disposition that what we are watching is good to juice the interest. They can't just say "both these teams are real bad" because you'd lose interest in watching.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:45 PM ^
Imo the tip rule should be changed to only cases where the ball's trajectory clearly is altered by the tip That one just barely grazed the DE's finger.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:46 PM ^
Omg plz be Rutgers ball
October 7th, 2022 at 10:46 PM ^
Nebraska comes back from 13 down and allows a Rutger to enable it to a 1 point comeback victory. Devin calls it redemption.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:47 PM ^
Nebraska is on fire. They could actually win the Big Ten West.
That division is fun.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:47 PM ^
Damn Schiano has a punchable face .
October 7th, 2022 at 10:48 PM ^
nebraska almost lost a fumble in the victory formation! 14-13 Final. not as bad as Denver-Indy last night, but not much better
October 7th, 2022 at 10:49 PM ^
That would have been the most Nebraska thing ever.
If it was last year, that is exactly what would have happened.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:48 PM ^
What a fucking collapse by Rutgers. Constant stupid and dumb decisions.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:48 PM ^
Michigan has has at least 5 QBs better than Rutger's Simon.
October 7th, 2022 at 10:54 PM ^
Welp. The Rutger QB ends the game by chucking another int. to the free safety playing deep. There was no Rutger receiver within 20 yards of him. Is E. Simon some kid they just pulled out of the stands and slapped a uniform on?
That was the Plan 9 From Outer Space of football games: So utterly inept and so much going totally wrong that it's actually kind of a masterpiece.
October 7th, 2022 at 11:08 PM ^
How 'bout that Colorado State D!
Can they get win #1 on the season?
October 7th, 2022 at 11:14 PM ^
Memphis putting the finishing touches on a big collapse of their own, at one point leading 26-7 just after the start of the 4th quarter. Houston scores late, executes the onside kick (hat tip to Memphis for a half-assed recovery attempt), then marches down and scores again on what I thought was pretty obvious OPI.
Houston now leads 33-32 with :17 left.
And Houston wins after sacking Memphis' QB.
October 7th, 2022 at 11:27 PM ^
On the onside kick, Houston's 81--who not incidentally was the first to touch the ball--was obviously offsides, and the refs missed. I just can't believe how horrible D-1 refs are. Not that Memphis didn't choke the game away...
October 7th, 2022 at 11:19 PM ^
A Nevada player with a bad bad decision there.
October 7th, 2022 at 11:52 PM ^
Nevada’s team from last year is playing pretty well against their current team.
October 8th, 2022 at 9:53 AM ^
Just imagine Devin Gardner and RG3 on a pregame show together. I would immediately watch that over all others.
October 8th, 2022 at 10:23 AM ^
Baseball Prospectus used to do a feature called "A Fate Worse Than Death", in which a staffer would watch the absolute worst game they could find in a given week and report on it.
I think both the NFL and the B1G delivered this experience back-to-back this week with the Colts-Broncos game and Nebraska-Rutgers. Could there be worse games in either league awaiting us this weekend?
