Devin Funchess expected to sign with the 13x World Champion, NFC North Champion, NFC runner-up, Green Bay Packers
Per Packer beat reporter Tom Pelissero on Twitter. I'm a GB season ticket holder and shareholder and I'm underwhelmed with the signing but I wish him well.
Soak in that Packer arrogance.
I can't wait for football to start on time to inflict more pain and misery to the Lions, Vikings, and Bears. Bring your taeks about living vicariously through the 9ers.
Edit: Pelissero works for the NFL Network, mea culpa.

I wish I could DELETE and then revise my mistake but alas...human element
Go Packers
Who else should I root for? Since we don't have a pro team in Michigan.
Q: Did you here about the Packer fan that died at a pie eating contest?
A: The cow kicked him in the head!
Wish Devin lots of luck.
Regarding Packer arrogance, I'm a long-suffering Lions fan that has lived in Wisconsin for many years. My son was born here. I have implored him not to follow in my footsteps as a Lions fan and fully embrace Packer arrogance. He's entitled to Packer fandom as a full-blooded Wisconsin citizen. He refuses my guidance and actively cheers for the Lions as a contrarian amongst his friends.
I tried.
I’m in the same boat. I’m praying my in-laws’ Packer fanaticism engulfs my children. It’d break my heart if they followed my lead in to Lions misery.
Packer arrogance? The same Packers that have been to one Super Bowl in ~25 years? ??
Assuming you like any other North team...what would you know about Super Bowls?
Your assumption is incorrect.
Umm... you mean 3??
One since the year 1999. Or since the turn of the Century. Whichever you prefer.
Well first you said 25 years and the answer was 3. Now since you realized you fucked up you decided to cherry pick the year 1999 (the year after the Packers went to back-to-back Super Bowls).
So how about this trivia question, the Packers went 13-3 this year during the regular season. When’s the last time the Lions won 13 games (or more) during the regular season?
March 25th, 2020 at 12:02 AM ^
I said around 25 years. And even so, they've won ONE in 20 years. With the supposed Second Coming at QB1 for the past 12 years. What are you bragging about?
And I'm not a Lions fan so I could give two shits about the last time they won 13 games.
This is why Packers fans are the worst.
I'm not bragging about anything. I was just answering the question. Since then, you've done a poor job trying to convince readers that the question says something it doesn't.

Can I get some clarification on the trivia question? Does it have to be just one season? Or can I combine several (many)?
this is a trick question. the lions have never won a game.
While I can understand forgetting about the first two since they were in the nineties, as a former resident of Wisconsin I have to point out that it's been three Super Bowl trips in the last 24 seasons (XXXI and XXXII).
Michigan fans should know, though, that Desmond Howard was the Super Bowl XXXI MVP and scored on a kickoff return (link, although there's a lot of interview before they actually show the damn play).
The Packers didn't sign Desmond the next year, and to be honest I didn't think they treated him very well. This was obviously the difference in Super Bowl XXXII, when the Packers lost a tight game to the Broncos on a late Favre interception.
I once went to The Game in Columbus and I had on a Lions sweatshirt at a bar the night before (with a Maize shirt underneath) and even the Buckeye fans felt sorry for me after the Lions got screwed on Thanksgiving the day before. It's rough being a Lions fan.
So interesting seeing people have all kinds of different NFL fandoms in this state. Really speaks to how bad the Lions are.
Culture of losing spanning generations. They’ve been the butt of jokes in this state when I was a kid, they are now and I know they were prior to when I was born.

I don't think anyone north of Traverse City could be blamed for being a Packer fan. At least by distance, GB is closer to most of northern Michigan than Detroit is.
Packers fans think their team is much more relevant than it actually is
March 24th, 2020 at 11:05 PM ^
Packer fans are everywhere though. Also the packers have a huge rivalry with the bears and another rivalry with the Vikings. That’s it. Two rivalries
That's kind of ironic coming from a Michigan board don't you think?
The Packers will struggle next year and probably still win the division for some bullshit reason. Refs will probably gift them two games.
Good man! Go Pack go!! I’m 24 years old, and when I first started watching football I made the decision to REFUSE cheering for the loser lions. I don’t know how you people manage dong-punches of Michigan football fandom and then go on to watch the lions the next day. Nope. I’m good.

Pride
Drama on Saturday, comedy on Sunday.
OK. I don't think many Lion fans care about the Packers except for memes/boredom. A lot of Lion fans liked Favre.
We'll just root against Packers/Bears/Vikings/49ers/Patriots/etc. depending on the wind.

The negs suggest otherwise
I actually enjoy the Cowboys losing more than the Lions winning at this stage in my life.
Talk about an arrogant fan base.
This post made me feel like I was just reading the dialogue from a wrestling promo
As a 49er fan that lived in WI for 35 years, I must say fuck the Packers.
Funchess couldn't catch COVID-19 at a beach in Miami.

Hopefully he can be a strong contributor for them.

Dude played 3 quarters and made 10 mill last season. Now he gets to play with Aaron Rodgers. For not actually being that good, he’s doing pretty ok for himself.
I hated it when the packers drafted Gary , and Now this ! they should of went out and got Robby Anderson because they needed a deep threat, but instead they get another possession WR .
I live in Milwaukee and hate these stuck up packers fans around here, their almost as bad as Osu FANS , and they have to be the dumbest fanbase in the NFL in terms of knowledge of the game, can't say badgers fans are much better around here !
Buying Packers Stock, LMAO - What a waste of Money !
Let me say it was not for tailgiaiting, I do not think the Brewers would be able to survive in Milwaukee because that is probably the main reason people go to baseball games around here.
Its part of the tradition with the packers but their fan base in terms of knowledge of the game is not good at all.
After the Lions , whoever plays the packers is my 2nd favorite team that week !
Rodgers using Danica as a front to cover up just like he used Olivia
They are gonna waste his last 10-15 years just like they did Favre's and will enjoy it !
^triggered
The Packers should draft Shea Patterson and DPJ to complete their quartet of Michigan underperformers.

It's all about the Nick Foles era now. Bear Down!
It is deeply weird to me to see nfl trolling on a Michigan football message board
