Don't you know
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:59 PM ^
Huge bonding between me and my boys over that song pumping at max volume while my wife rolls her eyes
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:03 PM ^
Same with me and my teenage daughter over Mr. Brightside, including the wife eye roll.
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:57 PM ^
That's last year's anthem. There's a new one for 2022.
January 2nd, 2022 at 6:42 PM ^
hopefully it won't be tied to the defense switching back to man D and adopting Barry Manilow's "Mandy"
January 2nd, 2022 at 7:32 PM ^
New one is 1-877-KARS4KIDS to be played on repeat
January 2nd, 2022 at 8:00 PM ^
Is that Kars with a K?
January 3rd, 2022 at 12:15 AM ^
I lost my virginity to that song.
January 3rd, 2022 at 8:30 AM ^
I want to punch you in the throat for that ear worm.
January 2nd, 2022 at 10:44 PM ^
Josh Groban?
<<ducks>>
January 3rd, 2022 at 12:46 AM ^
Mr. Brightside should be Michigans “Jump Around” for the rest of time.
January 3rd, 2022 at 12:51 PM ^
Yes. We own it now.
January 3rd, 2022 at 12:24 PM ^
Pump it down.
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:08 PM ^
Looking through our 20-22 recruiting classes, I feel like we are building great depth. I’m actually pretty pumped for 22 season.
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:24 PM ^
We can haz nice things?
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:09 PM ^
I’m excited to see our young wide receivers, too.
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:09 PM ^
Is he playing more like an SDE or more like DT?
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:17 PM ^
He looked like he was playing more SDE. They had big boy going to Bama next him inside.

I really miss the single February 15th National Signing Day. It made an otherwise dead time of year for college football an interesting and exciting time. Games like this were actually suspenseful (for the hat dance).
Recruiting was like a second mini-season, sandwiched in between the end of college football and mid-February when college basketball would heat up.
Now it is all anti-climatic. I didn't even know this game was on (or that they still even played it anymore).
It has to be killing the recruiting sites industry.
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:18 PM ^
Me too! I used to take that day off and sat and watched ESPNU all day.
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:19 PM ^
It was like a holiday. F5 all day long. Never got much done at work.
Whatever happened to Signing of the Stars? Holy cow, was that an over the top production or what? It was GREAT!
January 3rd, 2022 at 8:39 AM ^
That was awesome! But I feel that it went the way of the Dodo in the same timeframe that Harbaugh's competitive fire seemed to have taken a vacation after the 2016 OSU game. It went away along with the verbal sparring with everyone that took a shot at the program. It's like that game sucked the life out of his desire for football - until it hit rock bottom last year and rebounded with a vengeance this season.
I feel like this was the the 2016 season all over again, with a better finish. The finish 2016 was supposed to have. We have that coach back now. Maybe without the attention grabbing headlines of satellite camps, twitter rampages, and Signing of the Stars.
January 3rd, 2022 at 12:48 PM ^
I thought overall it was an incredible way to highlight the kids sending in the LOI's, but maybe nearly losing Rashan Gary made it a case of not wanting to be embarrassed on camera if a top recruit flips at the last minute. That first one was great for creating buzz around the program, but probably is something best left as a memory.
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:22 PM ^
Are there any other commits / recruits to watch for?
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:43 PM ^
Will Johnson has lived up to the hype in practices, he’s one of the only DB’s that has gotten talked about positively. Not watching the game, but following on Twitter, and he’s supposedly having a good game today as well.
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:00 PM ^
We will need him next November in Columbus. That Rose Bowl was a nightmare for DBs (and an RB playing DB).
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:07 PM ^
To be fair Utah had 4th strings out there.
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:09 PM ^
Well, our db's did pretty well against a fully operational death star. We should be fine as long as we can generate some pressure on Stround.
Utah had a depleted secondary, including said RB standing in as a db. But just as importantly, Utah had zero pass rush all game. Even when they blitzed. None. Their defensive ends provided no pressure at all.
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:25 PM ^
Another full off season and season of film and field experience between now and then. Not that our win is discounted because of it, but Stroud is only going to get better barring an injury. He will better understand our coverages and looks. Plus the game is in CBus. We will need all the help we can get to stop them again, especially with Marvin Jr looking like another superstar WR.
January 2nd, 2022 at 6:02 PM ^
All this is true, but also true is OSU defense is terrible. Yes they are getting a new DC, he just gave up 30+ to ND. That defense will not turn around and be top 10 or anything
January 2nd, 2022 at 6:41 PM ^
He didn’t coach in the bowl game and OSU has a lot of blue chip athletes for him to work with. If he can turn Oklahoma State into a top 10 defense, there’s a pretty good chance he can do it with the players on Ohio State’s roster. Hopefully it takes a while for them to adapt to the new system.
January 2nd, 2022 at 8:04 PM ^
If a coach can get 40ppg+ in the Big East what will his offenses do with a Michigan roster?
January 2nd, 2022 at 9:54 PM ^
It is at the very least true that 2021 is the nadir for OSU's D. This year was likely rock bottom for their D, and they likely will at least be better on D next year.
OTOH, Michigan's offense could be even better in '22 than in '21, so...
January 2nd, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
Their defense will be better, but it won't be Georgia
January 2nd, 2022 at 11:35 PM ^
I think there is a good chance the offense will be substantially better next year. The receiver position, the tight end position, and the all important quarterback position should all be substantially better. Although there will be losses at the OL and RB positions there are also some really good returning people who should be substantially better next year. So those positions should be at least as good and there is a real chance they will be even better next year.

January 2nd, 2022 at 10:48 PM ^
MacDonald did it in one year with Michigan’s roster. Michigan has plenty of talent but so does OSU.
There is no guarantee Knowles works for them but he could certainly also have them playing Championship D in year one.
January 2nd, 2022 at 11:30 PM ^
Utah is the best team west of the Mississippi.
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:51 PM ^
Would be cool if they wore their committed college helmets to easily differentiate who's getting a player that's making impact plays or simply performing well
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:58 PM ^
That's a great idea. Except all the non-committeds will look like Penn State.
January 2nd, 2022 at 4:59 PM ^
The buzz is that Moore might actually become a Mo Hurst type of DT down the road. That might be his position ultimately.
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:40 PM ^
January 2nd, 2022 at 6:00 PM ^
This would be fantastic. Mo Hurst and Taco would torture offensive lines and Jourdan Lewis locking down the #1 wide out gave offenses absolute fits. Would be a dream come true to have that again.
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:01 PM ^
D. Moore.
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:03 PM ^
Named MVP of the game and looked dang good.
January 2nd, 2022 at 5:04 PM ^
Sweet.
Suck it, Georgia.
January 3rd, 2022 at 8:52 AM ^
So we got the last laugh?
I'll take it - little victories...
