College Hoops Thread

Greenville is a DIII team. ISU scored 94 points in the 2nd half. They also lost to Murray State 173-95 and Samford 175-99 (Samford scored 102 in the first half!)
All depends on how you look at it, though!
The #GUPanthers @gu_mbball team has reached 100 points against the NCAA D-I @ISURedbirds! Can't imagine many D-III teams have put 100 points on the scoreboard against a D-I opponent.

This team has a penetration problem on D.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:24 PM ^
They have meds for that. I should know.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:22 PM ^
What a soft foul
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:23 PM ^
Brown with a 3. Wow
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:26 PM ^
You seem happier when we are struggling. We come back and you are like....just kill me. Are you REALLY a Michigan fan? Have faith, my brother. Have faith.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:42 PM ^
Agreed. Lots of vitriol. Just seems so angry and unpleasant.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:26 PM ^
Another bad call by these refs.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:27 PM ^
How was Johns called for that offensive foul but Brown called for the defensive when the BSU player literally stuck his shoulder into his chest?
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:27 PM ^
We get zero calls ever at home
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:29 PM ^
This officiating is absolute horseshit.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:29 PM ^
Chaundee is getting worked by the refs right now
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:32 PM ^
Both of those call were BS
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:30 PM ^
Livers needs no coaching motivation tonight.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:30 PM ^
This is the way we are suppose to play.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:30 PM ^
Here we go
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:31 PM ^
Still get nervous every time Livers dunks.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:32 PM ^
We are starting to see who needs to be on the floor and who needs to come off the bench. Starting to gel....little by little.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:32 PM ^
So basically when their players are smaller and weaker, stuff is a foul on us but yet when they mow over Brown its a foul on us? Makes sense!
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:33 PM ^
I've said all along that your four for sure starters are HD, Livers, Franz and Brown. You can interchange Brooks and Smith.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:37 PM ^
I don't think you can interchange Brooks and Smith. Smith is much better running the offense than Brooks.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:38 PM ^
Small doses maybe. Smith should start imo. I think Brown is a better 2 than Brooks.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:43 PM ^
Fair enough. Though I wonder if he can shoot the 3 as well as Brooks.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:53 PM ^
Small sample size but Brown at 39% and Brooks at 36% currently.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:38 PM ^
Covid rules: Everybody plays.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:35 PM ^
Missed the first 8 minutes of the half - has Livers been taking over the whole half? He's being tons more assertive, which he needs to be.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:35 PM ^
Enough with the injuries already sheesh
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:35 PM ^
Dickinson nearing a double-double.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:38 PM ^
a triple double may be in his future
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:44 PM ^
I want to see how Dickinson does in big 10 play.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:45 PM ^
Livers needs to be at very high usage.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:46 PM ^
Dickinson with his first career double double.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:47 PM ^
mich shooting 60% overall; and that's with shooting only 30% from 3.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:49 PM ^
These officials suck ass
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:49 PM ^
Still watching the tape, about 10 mins to go in the half: so much fun watching them play hard. And I saw some complaints about Davis, and it's clear that Dickiinson is better, but Davis plays hard and helps the team.
And Chaundee Brown is great fun to watch, even when he's not getting the calls.
And Livers is good.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:52 PM ^
davis will get owned in big ten play by most centers.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:52 PM ^
Really Bardo...You don't know the difference between Jimmy Jackson and Jimmy King? That's quite the insult, and the fab 5 didn't ruin your championship dream it was Sean Higgins. You really need a history lesson to be taken seriously.
Those Michigan players weren't texting you arbitrarily on the broadcast like you made it out to be.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:55 PM ^
Nice second half effort, lead fallen to 5 points, now back over 20.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:56 PM ^
Daaaaamn, Zeb Jackson!
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:56 PM ^
Good game and great 2nd half to make this a comfortable win.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:57 PM ^
So, uh, yeah...Hunter Dickinson.
Go Blue!
December 3rd, 2020 at 8:12 AM ^
Hopefully Juwan inserts Hunter into the starting lineup soon. I think Austin Davis is good off the bench. Have him come in around the 14:00 mark and play til the under 12:00 timeout, and a couple minutes out of the timeout. Then maybe again at the end of the half for a couple minutes. I'd like to see Hunter have at least one non-conference game starting so he's used to it for the start of the Big Ten season.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:58 PM ^
Livers was ON POINT tonight.
December 2nd, 2020 at 9:12 PM ^
Looking gooooooooood.
December 2nd, 2020 at 9:13 PM ^
Dickinson plays really good defense for a freshman Big.
December 2nd, 2020 at 9:19 PM ^
I hope that Juwan is getting through to Livers to be more active and aggressive of the offensive end. It seemed like it tonight, and as the competition gets tougher, we will need him to shoulder more of the load while our young players adjust and get up to speed -- though it seems like Hunter is getting there quickly!

Stupid, "David Letterman brush with greatness" post but...
My son went to middle and high school with UT 5* Greg Brown who's now starting as a freshman at UT Austin.
By all accounts he's a good kid I wish him well, but I wish UM got him.
