It's pretty bad. The only other interesting game is being played the same time as ours. Since the slate is this bad, this is one of those Saturdays where you have to look at the scores on ESPN for the ones that are unexpectedly close and click over to them. Although ESPN fucked up last week. During the Michigan game, we kept getting score updates on Penn State/Iowa (0-0 at the end of the 1st. 8-3 PSU with 7:50 left in the 2nd) despite the fact that the actual game had not started yet. It was a night game but whatever,

This is a week where the FIRST half doesn't matter.

But look at that schedule again, there are a BUNCH of games that could be close late. A lot of teams playing good, not great teams...some on the road.

The first half will not matter, but wait for the second half of these games when it's close.

I've got 5 games at noon that could be too close for comfort late, 3 at the 3:30 slot.

So no, the top ranked vs. ranked game where you sit down at kickoff and watch the entire game? We don't have any of those.

But I'd check back in at 2p and see what the scores are looking like. I bet there will be a game or two REALLY worth watching. I'd do the same at 5:30p.

Woods are nice, but nothing beats CFB Saturday.

As I said above, I bet we get 1-2 great games late in each time slot. We just don't know what they'll be quite yet.

But just like that UNC/Duke game, there are a ton of ranked vs. above average/good teams that could cause some real trouble.

You may look up a few hours from now and see Baylor is hanging with OU or Texas is beating with WVU. Or those games could be huge blowouts and maybe Miss St. is hanging around.

I'm interested to see what IU does since we play them next.

At 3:30...I wouldn't be surprised if Pitt keeps up with Clemson or Texas Texas scores on Oklahoma St. giving us a wild finish in the 60's.

GT, Ole Miss, USC, Minnesota and Cal...each of those teams have a shot at an upset win.

...I'm not calling upset, I'm just saying with 10-12 ranked vs. "could be dangerous" teams...odds are that we'll get a few shockers today. We'll also get a few complete blowouts...let's hope the Wolverines account for one of those.
