Coach Harbaugh will have us playin on this day soon! Until then we gotta deal with it. I hope Wisconsin finds a way to beat osu, sadly dont think they will.

Just stop. You had it all. You could have been as weird as you wanted with your normal goofy loser persona, and even all your other stupid ones. But now you create a Jim from Huck Finn character? And then, on top of that, you create another one to write "translation?" in response to the first? It's over for you. In my opinion, your racist shit has no place here. Just a matter of time now.

not sure this is WD, for instance bando thought it was maize-something.  but if s/he was to contact one of the mods on the side s/he could keep his identity private while the mod could then verify that they are/n't a duplicate mgoblogger or a banhammered blogger.

I think it's because this dude is on here 24/7 like WD usually is (until recently) and he has a history of creating fake accounts. Regardless, this character is someone we know. I don't think I've ever seen a new user post this avidly and not be someone who's been here before. It's not evidence, of course, but the act is annoying nonetheless.

Where is the proof that WD created multiple accounts under different aliases? I know that was conventional wisdom around here, but I never saw any proof presented by anybody—just assumptions and inferences.

I don't dismiss at all the possibility that Hatchett was created by a poster who used to go under a different name/avi, but the style of writing and attitude is so radically different from WD that it doesn't make any sense to me.

Really watch the responses from Bigly Huge to this Hatchett clown or whatever it is. They are both him. I assume there is a way to prove it, but that's beyond my pay grade. I'm sure it will come out soon enough if he doesn't put those two back in the closet. Edit* Sorry. That was in response to Don

so by that logic, I have no clue how Bama could get in, but then again I have no clue why Bama would still be #5 either.

It does concern me that a Big Ten champ OSU with wins over PSU and Wisconsin could sneak in despite their Iowa loss

I want them both to be left out, but I just feel like the committee is going to find a way to get at least one of them in

Everything is cut and dry for the most part. ACC winner is in. SEC winner is in. Oklahoma is in if they beat TCU. Big Ten winner is in as long as Oklahoma also wins. If Oklahoma loses, OSU is out no matter what. In that scenario it's Wisconsin and Bama in and Bama and chaos for the last spot if OSU wins.

My sole objective today is to deny Ohio State access to the playoffs.

Therefore: c'mon Oklahoma, c'mon Wisconsin.

Oklahoma is the key ... they have to win to achieve my objective.  If they win, and OSU beats Wisconsin, I think it's very, very likely the committee pushes Alabama into the top 4.

But the icing on the cake will be for Wisconsin to bitch-slap OSU today.

If Oklahoma loses OSU is out no matter what. 2 loss OSU is not getting in over 2 loss OU when OU beat them in the shoe, and OU isn't getting in if they lose their conf championship game.

If Oklahoma wins, they're in.  Period.

If Oklahoma loses, it opens the door to the possibility of OSU.

That presumes OSU beats Wisconsin, and beats them handily.

Some other stuff has to happen ... Clemson losing to Miami would open the door more.

I just have this feeling there's a contingent of the playoff committee that's itching to put OSU back in, particularly if they beat Wisconsin in a convincing fashion.

But if Oklahama wins, Clemson wins, they're both in.  The SEC champion is in.  That leaves one more slot to fill, and OSU won't jump Alabama sitting at 11-1.

OU loses, Clemson loses, then chaos reigns ... and I can see SEC champion, Alabama, Ohio State, and who knows who else.

Deny Ohio State.  Oklahoma has to win.  That shuts the door on OSU.

Completely disagree. OSU is in if they win and Oklahoma wins. Alabama's quality wins are Fresno St, LSU, and Miss St. OSU's are Penn St, MSU, Michigan, and Wisconsin if they win. It's clear who has the better resume and it's clear by now that the committee cares more about quality wins than shit losses, seeing how Clemson is ranked 1. Auburn is ranked 2 with two losses which bodes well for a Big Ten champion OSU team hopping Bama. Oklahoma isn't losing to TCU so Wisconsin is really our only hope for keeping OSU out.

A win by the Badgers keeps them in the playoffs and out of the pecking order of B1G teams for the other bowls, which, in turn, keeps us in better position for either the Outback or Holiday games. Absolutely do NOT want OSU in the top four. And keeping Sabanbama out would be great, too.

1-loss Alabama gets in over a 2-loss OSU ... B1G title is secondary to quality wins and record. OSU's two blow-out losses and inconsistent play, plus the committee suffering last year's embarassing OSU blowout in round 1 has likely killed OSU's chance to jump Alabama. Personally, this playoff needs to be expanded as it is leaving out a number of qualified teams that can compete. They should eliminate these conference title games and use this weekend as the first round of a 16 team playoff. How great for college football if this weekend (Friday and Saturday) had the following 8 games: 1 Clemson vs. 16 Michigan State 2 Auburn vs. 15 Notre Dame 3 Oklahoma vs. 14 UCF 4 Wisconsin vs. 13 Washington 5 Alabama vs. 12 Stanford 6 Georgia vs. 11 TCU 7 Miami vs. 10 USC 8 Ohio State vs. 9 Penn State
