Coach Moore Spring Interview Tidbits
Moore talked about early spring practice, breakout players, Scruggs, the staff, NIL and the portal, position battles, experience returning, and expectations for the team. Mentions DJ Waller, Jyaire Hill, TJ Guy, and Enow Etta as early standouts which all guys listed gives good confidence to positions of question (dline depth, cornerback depth). I’m so hyped for the season and what Moore has in store for Michigan.
That’s the wrong link, Itellyahwhat.
I saw nothing about Scruggs
Don't want no Scruggs.
Paradoxically, if he were only hanging out the passenger side of his best friend’s ride, we would still want that Scruggs

a scruggs is a guy that can't blow 0 BAC
Eschewing the passenger side of his best friend's ride
Trying to fool the PD
Yes, scrolled too hard on 247 and copied wrong link. TY
Please see this link, apologies 😬 phone was lagging hard on this one, that and user error was strong.
I know that next season has to happen, but I am perfectly fine with the status quo. Still hard to think about a new season when the championship glow hasn't died down yet.
You'll be okay when that first sweet playoff championship trophy is hoisted by Sherrone in ~Jan 2025...
Exactly. I'm still reveling. I'm not ready to begin anticipating yet.
And with the basketball season being what it was, I've probably been reveling in the football memories a little longer than usual. It's been the perfect balm for the tire fire at Crisler.
Board post AND a diary...
As I commented on the Diary post, I've almost posted incorrectly too.
It is a little confusing that the two parts of the main page are Diaries and Message Board but "Create Content" refers to "Diaries" and "Forum."
[EDIT: Mods, why IS there a difference?]
Are we still NATIONAL CHAMPIONS ??? I believe so
I’m hoping to hear more about DT depth. I think Graham and Grant could both go pro after this year, and while I think Benny can take one of those spots in 2025, I’d like to hear about two others that could rotate at DT next year.
On point mfan...
It's spring practice 2024 and were hand ringing about 2025 depth!!!
So happy we get to keep some of that chemistry from the last 3 years. Some of these players have been waiting a long time for a chance to lead. Giovanni El Hadi comes to mind. He has been good enough to start ANYWHERE except where Zinter and Keegan played.
I don't recall the interview but Drake Nugent said he didn't play in the 4th quarter until the 7th or 8th game. The guy who was snapping when he was out will be carrying the load.As long as he has waited, you know he is hungry.
Breathe and relax. It's better to miss being the first to post something than to make mistakes when try to rush being the first one while using your smartphone. It makes you look bad.
Unfortunately, Greg Scruggs did as much for our football team as Earl Scruggs.
Greg now has plenty of time to spend in his local saloon like his cousin Buster Scruggs.
Wow! Extremely impressed with coach Moore. His answers were phenomenal. It’s like the Harbaugh mentality without the quirkiness or awkwardness. I would imagine the kids just love him and believe in him. Michigan was smart and fortunate to hire him and have him on staff.
Very excited to see what he can do. I was worried they might just enjoy last year but nope. They all have something to prove. Get a QB and lookout!
Always up for some bits about Michigan Football. Especially this time of year. Many thanks.
Nice. So those are the guys that are not close to being ready but they see potential and want to encourage them to step up by hyping them. Got it.

Impressive interview. His answer on Mike Hart was the shortest, so I'm guessing that was the strangest situation Sherrone has faced so far as HC. Good to hear that the players are taking to Wink Martindale. Also cool how informative Coach Moore is whereas Coach Harbaugh speaks more in metaphors and just trying to name-drop everybody.
We've seen that Coach Moore can build an offensive line and a gameplan, but it remains to be seen how he architects an entire program. I am really hoping he succeeds and I think he's got a good shot.
If only he had a winning example to follow.

Was Scruggs' tenure shorter than his background check? Better question is "how did a dude with two priors pass the background check?"
Loving Hills name being mentioned at a position of uncertainty. Hopefully he gained a little weight.
