There’s Jake Moody days until the 1st M appearance in the CFP! Maybe we can use current roster players only? And mention a key contribution to the season in the OP and comments? (I checked and it’s going to be tough for 11 and 10. But I’m sure some creativity will make it work!?)
13 Jake Moody - Lou Groza award winner. Was huge earlier in the year knocking in FGs like clockwork. Thankfully not needed against OSU and Iowa.

You do understand that the doll is used to help young children identify in what manner they have been abused/raped, right? It's in incredibly poor taste to joke about it in any context. Not the first time I've seen it used and it is sad that people continue to do so.

I think most people understand that. And much of good comedy is about making light of serious subjects in clever ways. It's a way of coping.
That's why many of the most successful comedians are from historically oppressed groups (like African-Americans and Jews).

Please point me to the rape survivor comedian and I will reconsider my position. Notice that the comedians are of the minority group they are joking about. This is not that, is not at all clever, and can cause folks who've lived this experience to have to revisit it. It is sad that people actually speak up to defend its use. But, as they say "the hurt dog howls."
Imagine if your daughter was raped and overheard this joke being told. I guarantee there are rape survivors on this board. Please fucking stop!

I mean, what would you suggest then? We tried having someone deliver the daily announcements nude while hyperventilating into a bag between each item and a lot of people objected. They were jealous really, but let's not pick nits now. Anyway, the point is that we always thought that the "There Are..." posts were an excellent compromise.

I wouldn't have used cringe, and JWG seems like a good person, but I think the last thing we need now is another bunch of posts cluttering the board, which is currently at an all-time high level of messiness. I don’t really care for the summer “there are” posts, but this is a good idea cause we’re going to the fucking playoff. And it’s Christmas time when it’s common to count down anyway.

I remember how many were so negative during the countdown to the start of the season. I was thinking 7-5 but thought it would be a good turnaround season after 2020! I thought the team would improve through the season, which they did. I'm glad they proved me and many others who predicted a 7 win season totally wrong.

I mean, if they haven't practiced since the B1G CG they've given up. After the B1G CG, coach said they would take "a few days off" and then get back at it. So I'd think they've been back at it for while now.

Jim Harbaugh in an interview said Dec 26th is when they will flying down. They will continue practice down in Miami .. the kids got roughly a week off after big ten championship game. Hinton and corum both said they had finals to finish and then went home for a few days.
