Buffalo at Michigan - GAME THREAD

If Buffalo hit a few of their threes we would have a game here. Need to tighten up the defense. 

Quietly…are free throw shooting has been atrocious

Michigan hasnt even played their starters together since the first 4 mins. Most of you getting on them….chill

There is NO WAY we have enough minutes for everyone. There are so many secondary players that are really talented. So many starters that are so good you want to give them all the minutes. This will be fun.

really great to see the team playing again.

Very impressed by everyone so far - Houstan and Diabate are as advertised - but everyone has played well. Buffalo is a MAC team, but a good team nonetheless.

Good to see everyone looking pretty comfortable out there already... once they get more chemistry, the skies the limit

Team is going to be fun to watch, there'll be some ups and downs for sure but I'm excited!

Moussa Diabate is the first person down the court on almost every possession. When he comes in this team become insanely fast. His athleticism is crazy. I hope we get two years of him. Wow.

Playing Moussa and TWill together is like letting loose a couple hyenas on the court. 

Did I say wow already? Wow.

I’m liking the countdown clock showing the time left until the end of halftime. 

I love the way Juwan mixes the veterans with youth so that the young guys have leadership and direction. 

So weird seeing Robbie on broadcast.  Thought for sure he'd be at practice.  Didn't he play in last night's Purdue game.

One of the few defensive lapses we’ve had. Plus that was a bogus foul on the trap. 

Defense has been a little softer in the middle than I expected, no worries though.

Got a little cute with lineups and the game has tightened up. There's so much talent but not really enough minutes. Has zeb played? In impressed when things are rolling but we'll see who the alphas are soon

And I got negged for saying Michigan’s defense needed to tighten up… Homers. 

Nunez getting a lot of minutes. Offense is stale

Defense getting beat with penetration and feels like spacing is an issue on offense.

Nowhere near the defense of last year.  That will be a work in process.

About 3 walks and a for sure foot out of bounds on Buffaloes last possession 

It’s game 1.  We are experimenting and learning with new players.  If we were playing Kansas like Staeee did, it would be a completely different game plan. 

Ok. Time to tighten things up a bit.

Feels like it’s a really tight whistle.  It’s felt equal both ways, just a bit touchy in the foul calls. 

Fouls and rebounds an issue today. Too much going for blocks

Eli Brooks is the smallest player on the floor at 6’ 1”

Getting beat off the dribble a lot, which is a little concerning.

Diabate is the only one playing with energy.

This twin tower lineup might be a little gimped on offense. 

The only thing keeping Buffalo in this game is experience. One of college basketball oldest teams vs Eli and the kids. 

Michigan BB is back!!   Love this team.

I'm not a fan of this line up, it lacks shooting. 

This line up might even worse spacing, even with that fadeaway.
