Bring Mike Hart Home!!

Right along with Nick Sheridan and Tom Allen.

Allen has two QB's starting in the B1G -- who is the QB whisperer? The guy is spinning gold out of straw. He would be affordable and knows the turf.

And have you seen his motivational speeches. A bit crazy but entertaining as hell.

Killing it at Liberty is very different from killing it in a real conference. At Ole Miss Freeze went:

7-6

8-5

9-4

10-3

0-7

Most of those wins were vacated. If we're going to fire our coach who usually wins 9-10 games, let's not fire him for someone who was mediocre when he was in a real conference.

I guess we have different priorities. Personally, I watch football to be entertained. Crappy 7-6 teams aren't fun to watch even if they beat their rivals. This place melted the hell down when Harbaugh won 8 games in 2017. People were losing their minds before the OSU loss.

That is how Hugh Freeze did while cheating so blatantly that he soon got caught in an embarrassing fashion. Given the leadership at Liberty, he is probably doing the same thing and will soon sink their program.

The last thing we need is some pious hypocritical  asshole for a coach. He would be a worse cultural fit than Rich Rod. It would be an exaggerated version of Tommy Tuberville going to Cincinnati.

No one outside of Michigan fans want Mike Hart.  If you want a real football coach, dude is tainted I agree, hire Hugh Freeze.   Dude had Liberty, freaking Liberty, ranked.

I don’t care if I like our next football coach. I don’t care if our next football coach is aware of our traditions. I don’t care if he agrees MI vs OSU is the greatest rivalry in football. I just want to win.  This crap fake integrity that Michigan propagates is the arrogance that has us where we are.

What culture is there at Michigan, but to bring in a “Michigan Man” come Hell or high water?  It’s the culture at Michigan that is killing our program.  Michigan culture torpedoed Rich Rod.  Michigan. Culture hired Brady Hoke.

If you want a successful football program, I can’t think of a worse culture to try and emulate than “Michigan Culture”.

The Michigan Man meme does have to go, I mean Bo wasn't a Michigan Man until he was. That said, Michigan as a University, as a whole, is about prestige and class and we can't go hiring a guy lacking in integrity. There's gotta be a guy out there who brings in a healthy winning culture that we can be proud of. I haven't heard anything bad from is Matt Campbell, the coach at ISU. He's from Ohio so we could get some recruits from there, and he's done a good job there. He seems like he'd be a good hire, if we could pull him away from the Cyclones

What is it with all the fascination with Matt Campbell around here? Is a mediocre coach in the Big 12 the best we can do? You think just because he’s from Ohio that he’ll be able to recruit Ohio well? Seems like the kind of hire that 1/2 the fan base is ok with because we do things ‘right’ but still suck. When will people come to grips with the fact that Michigan ‘cheats’ too? Maybe not to the extent that others do, but I’d bet my life that UM isn’t a completely clean program...

Iowa St is in the bottom 5 of Power conference jobs. They have not won a conference title since 1912. The most conference wins they’ve ever had is 6. The most wins they’ve ever had in a single season is 9. They’ve only won 8+ games 10 times and Campbell has two of them (with a chance to get a third this year). It’s a shit job.

Rich Rod giving zero fucks about having a decent defense torpedoed Rich Rod.

Rich Rod not being able to win big games torpedoed Rich Rod.

Sound familiar? It does to me.

Do a real freaking coaching search. Hire an up-and-comer with an innovative offense and one that focuses on sound defense. No, I don't know who that is, but they're out there, and Michigan has the resources to find him, if they care to.

And thank God you don’t have any say so with Michigan’s program. If you did, there would be a mold of Harbaugh’s scrotum that the team would have to rub before hitting the field with the entire Michigan crowd bowing before the “god of Jimmie” that has done so much for our program that we should be so lucky he is here. That’s how I know you’re a Michigan fan.

It's a matter of time with Mike Hart returning to Michigan. He'd need to become an OC. That's his next move up. After that he'd be a HC at a MAC sized school so it might take some time.

No doubt that Allen is ascending. There's a lot of OC & DC young talent out there that Michigan can tap into if and when the time comes.

Let me edit that by adding "good".

I think Milton has potential with better play calling (from a staff that is not trying to have him channel his best John Navarre!).

I'm not anti-Gattis but feel he's being entombed in the Harbaugh sarcophagus.
