Bring Mike Hart Home!!

Right along with Nick Sheridan and Tom Allen.

Allen has two QB's starting in the B1G -- who is the QB whisperer? The guy is spinning gold out of straw. He would be affordable and knows the turf.

And have you seen his motivational speeches. A bit crazy but entertaining as hell.

Why on earth would you hire the running backs coach at a mid tier school to be your head coach? There are so many better options. Go grab Manny Diaz or Joe Brady or Brent Venables or literally anyone else. Almost anyone you pick would be more qualified.

I am a fan of Tom Allen even though he is slightly unhinged at times..... but that is just what UM needs. He does more with less than most coaches imo. Mike Hart and Nick should come as well.

But why would Allen come here?
The guy makes 4 Million per year with sooo much less pressure to win at Indiana.
He doesn't HAVE to beat OSU to be successful at Indiana.
Michigan's expectations are so sky high.

Please consider it Tom Allen but I wouldn't do it. 4 Million is a VERY comfortable life.
8-4, 9-3 is perfectly fine at IU.... not at UM.

A smart post for once.  You hit the nail on the head.  At IU there is more pressure on the basketball HC than will ever be on the football HC.  They went YEAR without beating OSU and just beat UM.  They came close but so have we when it came to OSU.

Fuck osu.  Every momentum turning season we have had, i.e. 2006/2016 just serves us such a mental blow.

Why would I want to be 3-0 going on 4-0, when I can sit at 1-2 and soon to be 1-3.  Embarrassed by my rival.  Lackluster play in the field.  Naw. Nobody has it better than us. Nobody.

Mike hart is my all time favorite wolverine. People have been doubting him since his hs days. He's no stranger to hard work. I fully expect to see him back on the M sidelines some day. And he will have earned it on merit

 Keep grinding

How can you not like Tom Allen? He has to be the guy.. Passion and understanding of the game is top tier. Assistants Hart and Sheridan would be dream team assistants and waiting in the wings. Youth and passion!! I'll say it, Tom Allen has the "Enthusiasm unkown to mankind". Something  Harbaugh lost in 2016.. Carousel is moving for Allen has to be at top of the list..

You sure about that? Hart and Harbaugh have a little bit of history, and Hart has explicitly stated he wishes Harbaugh was never associated with the University. Granted, maybe it’s water under the bridge at this point, but you have no way of knowing whether or not the guy would actually be willing to come here.

Either way, I feel like the last thing we need is some other alum in here who won’t let Michigan move on from its past. Plus, if I’m Hart, I’m not really sure I want to take a chance on coming to Michigan right at this point. It’s clear that the current staff trajectory is on a sharp downward slope, while my career is on an upward trajectory in the coaching ranks. Why would I jeopardize that at this point by associating myself with a ship that is clearly thinking?
