BREAKING — Al Borges to return To Ann Arbor
August 28th, 2019 at 10:58 AM ^
Fuck you and your title. I mean are you trying to give a Brother a heart attack. Damn man!
August 28th, 2019 at 11:00 AM ^
Any downvotes are worth the reactions I imagine I would have if I read that title....
First Brandon on the AED podcast and now this? Is this real life?
August 28th, 2019 at 2:30 PM ^
"That makes a baker's dozen for me".
August 28th, 2019 at 1:46 PM ^
Haha.
"Go ahead caller, you're on the air."
"So Al, about that 2012 2nd half playcalling at Ohio State..."

My first thought was- Pioneer is hiring a new janitor.
August 28th, 2019 at 5:44 PM ^
A friend of mine said after about a year beyond the firing, he saw Borgess coaching a kids soccer team. He was still in the area for a while.
August 28th, 2019 at 10:59 AM ^
As long as the closest he gets to the team is a press box, it'll be ok.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:27 AM ^
Too close!! He was in the press box when he was 'coaching'... He shouldn't be allowed anywhere within 20 miles of the Big House! Especially when next to a former Michigan player...
August 28th, 2019 at 11:31 AM ^
Al and "speed in space" aren't in the same vocabulary
August 28th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
I dunno. Have you ever seen him in a buffet?
August 28th, 2019 at 1:05 PM ^
Would he even fit into the press box at this point?
August 28th, 2019 at 11:00 AM ^
I'm only not mad because it was obviously not about him being hired as a coach. Gotta get up earlier in the morning if you want me to fall for that.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:01 AM ^
Have Heiko call and ask why he didn't run more bubble screens
August 28th, 2019 at 12:54 PM ^
Isn't he......"Dr. Heiko" by this point?
August 29th, 2019 at 10:33 AM ^
I like the cut of your jib.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:02 AM ^
Get a load of this guy and his title
August 28th, 2019 at 11:05 AM ^
Is this a photo from the party when you were showing off your sweat reacting tee shirt?
August 28th, 2019 at 11:07 AM ^
No, it was my Michigan themed nipple rings actually.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:10 AM ^
And that was the reaction? Was the party in East Lansing?
edit: doesn't look like there is any room for a couch so it must be...
August 28th, 2019 at 11:29 AM ^
The thought of block M's hanging... Ughh...
Where are the forks?
August 28th, 2019 at 12:01 PM ^
LOL. One of the best comeback ever
August 28th, 2019 at 1:30 PM ^
No doubt, one is maize and the other blue, amirite???
August 28th, 2019 at 2:07 PM ^
Should have gone with the MGoTassles
August 28th, 2019 at 6:37 PM ^
Best laugh I had all day WD
August 28th, 2019 at 11:10 AM ^
SCOTY!
(Snappy Comeback Of The Year!)
August 28th, 2019 at 11:06 AM ^
Ballsy.
Foolish.
But ballsy.
Upvote for your courage.
August 29th, 2019 at 12:26 AM ^
Ballsy woulda been cock ring, amirite?
August 28th, 2019 at 11:12 AM ^
You'd have to be a moron if you read the title and thought he was being hired as a coach or even a consultant.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:46 AM ^
Moran
FIFY
August 28th, 2019 at 2:19 PM ^
Happy Days Again Not
August 28th, 2019 at 3:26 PM ^
There's a bar in Chicago called Moran's. I get a chuckle out of it whenever I'm in Wrigleyville
August 28th, 2019 at 11:13 AM ^
I have no real interest in what his thoughts about coaching or strategy are. He has shows that he does not understand the modern game at this point. If he wants to give a breakdown of his offense at Auburn when he had NFL talent everywhere 15 years ago, I will listen. But if he wants to give any insight to the team's offense currently...nah.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:28 AM ^
I think his head might explode trying to dissect a Gattis offense or a Brown defense.
August 28th, 2019 at 12:02 PM ^
I think the idea is to do exactly opposite what he suggests
August 28th, 2019 at 12:52 PM ^
It'd be right up there with Hoke critiquing Harbaugh's punting strategy after the Michigan State game in 2015.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:16 AM ^
I was hoping that he was coming back as an OC for an opposing team... and was salivating at the thought of him continually running straight up the middle trying to 'soften' the defensive line.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:26 AM ^
This was my reaction to the thread title. I honestly wondered if one of our opponents had picked him up.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:20 AM ^
I upvoted you as I thought the thread title was funny. Knew there was no way he was coming back as a coach. Thought maybe he was hired as a coach for one of our opponents, speaking somewhere, etc.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:22 AM ^
I didn’t fall for it. But cmon.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:24 AM ^
He was actually a pretty nice guy, but sure, let's just pile on someone for doing a job.
August 28th, 2019 at 2:48 PM ^
August 28th, 2019 at 11:27 AM ^
Look, he was not the greatest OC but he seemed like a real cool and good dude. I would be entertained listening to Al Borges.
August 28th, 2019 at 12:53 PM ^
And to get some insights from Mike Martin--a bright kid not too far removed from college football. He should be interesting.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:30 AM ^
Serious question: Is he doing the show from a remote location? I can't imagine he would relocate to AA just for this.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:30 AM ^
Fool me once!
August 28th, 2019 at 11:31 AM ^
Just so long as he's not coaching.
August 28th, 2019 at 11:31 AM ^
I didn't fall for it, either, but did upvote your attempt!
August 28th, 2019 at 11:32 AM ^
First Brandon, now Borges...
I swear to fucking God, RichRod is plotting his return to 48103 as we speak.
