Brady article
"You won't catch me dead living in the Northeast again," he said last week, and it sounded less like a gloat than the last word - no doubt making his slotted chin seem even more punchable to the New Englanders he abandoned for warmth."

But how are we gonna recruit him if he doesn't live in the Northeast?

Recruited him out of California....remember? ?

Uh - he was released by New England. His departure was not voluntary. He, however, has made the most of it. New England is left to pick up the pieces of their mistake.

He must be talking about Lloyd Brady's son who is a 2 star QB/K. I think he plays for a high school in VT.

It’s funny to me to hear Patriots fans upset at him. Although I do believe it’s the minority. I’m a Pats fan (even bigger Brady fan) and have thoroughly enjoyed watching him in TB. I will be rooting for Tom and the Bucs to move forward in the playoffs. How you could be a Pats fan and have anything negative to say about Brady is beyond me. He gave everything he had and then some to the organization and brought unparalleled success.
Would I have liked to see him never leave? Of course, but I have no ill will towards him and will continue to root for the GOAT!

If you’re a dyed in the wool Pats fan I can see how one would be anti-Brady at the moment. He is out to prove he’s bigger than the franchise (and is proving it). People will settle down in the future once he’s retired, especially if he and Belichick are publicly chummy.

Um, have you ever met anyone from Boston?

Completely anecdotal as I live in Boston, but I’ve yet to come across a person that is anti-Brady. Everyone saw the writing on the wall with the lack of offensive talent in 2019 and zero cap space to rectify it in 2020. No way was Brady going to spend his last couple years having an aging Jules as his #1.

I believe he would have preferred to stay with NE. Just couldn't agree to the terms.

I think Brady left because the team around him was deteriorating. The line wasn't giving him time to throw and he only had one really good receiver. All you have to do is look at this year's Pats to know why Brady left.

I'll be rooting for him in the playoffs, that's for sure.

Wow - a sports, weather, and politics jab all in one. He really IS the GOAT!

Not to mention catch him dead living. Amazing!

California guy playing in Tampa Bay. Yeah, I get his decision.
He made the right choice, inasmuch as it was his choice. New England may be good again starting next year ($60m+ in cap space this offseason), but this year was always going to be rough.
I'm rooting for the guy. I bet most NE fans are. It may be Boston, but at least it isn't Philly...

He does, however, want to be in Green Bay in a few weeks.
