Lots of people are acting crazy on here. Why is everyone so caught up on how the sky is falling? I’ll flip it, here’s the reasons “as of today” things are good.

1. Hill, Shea, Hudson, Bredeson, Metallus all decided to come back.

2. We closed everyone of the recruits we legitimately had a chance on except Harrison. Great finish to class adding Johnson and flipping back Dax Hill.

3. Some guys we think were transferring, no news on them. Black seems like he’s excited for next year. Probably others, but can’t think of them.

4. Several of our top incoming recruits performed well in the army/UA Games and/or practices. Definitely not something to overreact about in a 1 week setting, but good to see against high level competition. Usually a great sign of things to come.

5. No coach has left yet that didn’t get a promotion. We aren’t losing lateral moves. Even if Washington does, he has long connections to OSU. It happens. Nobody else is flying out of here for no reason.

Honestly, the Pep situation and what we do with getting more explosive is the biggest offseason story. Wait for it to play out. If come 3/1 we still have him, I’ll be pretty upset. I just don’t think Pep has it in him. Ones who say this is all Harbaugh? How has the O’s looked last 2-3 years vs. first year with Rudock, SF, or Stanford? Pep sucked at all his stops. He’s the reason this O is being held back. Hopefully Harbaugh doesn’t let friendship get in the way with what is right. This is really the only thing we should worry about being now and start of spring ball.

Oh no, Michigan might lose someone else from a paper tiger defense that was helpless against every good team it played. Who gives a shit. Give them Don Brown too and go hire Jay Bateman.

I think it’s interesting this is being reported before he’s made a decision. How often does a position coach merely being offered a position job on another team get reported?
