Is the game on CBS the tournament finals or the tournament championship game?  Thee Ohio is not looking good in the one I'm watching - perhaps they're doing better in the other one.

They flashed the tournament schedule on the screen and I didn’t know the schedule is changing that much. I’m guessing to get more viewers.

Think it’s because of tourney in Indy. Getting all the teams into their hotels, COVID tested, etc. Sort of start their bubble approach to avoid positive test. They said if a team doesn’t start tourney, they will replace. But, once it tips, then it’s forfeit W’s. The play-ins are TH. I don’t think they felt comfortable starting bubble in 48 hour window. Gives them a couple extra days. All play-ins will play Saturday for their next game.

OSU plays better against us than everyone else. Michigan split, but think Michigan’s W at OSU was both teams best game of the season. Washington balled on us twice. I’ve Seen OSU like 7ish times, never in the other 5 did he play like he did in our 2. So weird. OSU just has that weird mojo on Michigan, doesn't matter the sport I guess lol. We are better than OSU, but they just bring it against us. Especially Liddell and Washington. Illinois is good, but this is struggling OSU/tired OSU. Not a OSU we ever get to see lol.

It's weird thinking about how much teams change throughout the season or even week to week. We certainly have seen some of the disadvantages of that (e.g. seeing Ohio State right before and right after their huge slump, getting both Michigan State games at the end of the season when they were actually decent, playing Minnesota before they tanked). Then again, we also benefited from that in some ways (Iowa has become much more beatable lately)

So after shooting well over 50% for three yesterday against us, it figures that OSU can't throw the ball in the ocean and hit water today.

OSU didn't make their first FG until the game was nearly 6.5 minutes in.

And...with under 6 minutes to play in the first half, they are 0-8 from 3...after going 12-22 from 3 on us yesterday.

I'm sure the Illinois defense is just that much better than ours (rolls eyes)

And of course OSU looks like dog shit today. But whatever, I’m happy with it.

Illinois doesn’t really bother me. They are not a rival. Brad Underwood might be annoying, but it’s really not a big deal. But I can’t stand the idea of OSU having anything to hang its hat on to.

This may be anathema, but I would like to see O$U pull this one out.

I don't want Illinois to get any banners and I would like to take their number of games/ winning percentage argument and shove it right up their ass.

Underwood deserves it with all his stupid shit talk.

Obviously not a fan or either team, but the Illini are the 2nd best team in the conference and (despite their annoying whining) deserve this championship. Osu missing out a banner is always nice, too. Georgie put in some nice work to give Illinois this lead.

For all of their talent, Illinois is not great in the face of adversity.  They get undisciplined, try to force too many shots, and fall apart.  See:  MSU game.

That was a block. On the travel, the ball got caught on his chest. From Underwood’s vantage it looked like he maintained his dribble, but you can’t pin the ball on your chest, lose your feet and not travel.

Kofi’s third was a horrible, patented DJ Carstensen call for standing next to a guy.
