The best team UM played this NC season?
Now that the season is over, which team was the best team UM played this NC season?
Sure, you might immediately jump to Alabama, since Bama took Michigan to over-time. However UM played their worst special teams of the season and JJ had a mediocre game vs Bama.
Ohio Soft University? It was a close game in Ann Arbor. Michigan played better vs OSU than Michigan played vs Bama.
Certainly wasnt Washington. When a team can hang 300+ yards of rushing on your team, you dont have a good team. Washington was doomed.
I guess I would slightly lean towards Bama. It's close though. A fully-loaded Ohio State team with McCord vs Bama on a neutral field would have been a close game.

The best team they played all season long was the Michigan Wolverines in practice day in and day out, pushing themselves to greatness! The other teams never stood a chance….

Changing my vote:
On a neutral field, a fully functional OSU vs Bama, I'll take OSU by 2. OSU had a surprisingly strong D this season.

Ohio St was the best team and I don't think it that close either. I think it's very possible that OSU and Michigan were the two best teams in the country.

AnOSU. Secondarily, Alabama.

Ohio State closely edges Bama, then Washington, then PSU or Maryland and then Rutgers and then Iowa.

Put my vote in for OSU. Yuck.

I'd still go with OSU because of how close it was as a home game. Even with a gimpy JJ and missing Harbaugh OSU played well and schemed well.

So hard to say because we were better than all of them. I saw Alabama in person so I lean that way. They were quite good, but you could see that we were better, and see that they knew it.

Fancy stats say OSU and I would agree.

I think it was OSU, then Bama, then Washington, then PSU (who I wouldn't put too far ahead of Maryland).

It's amazing. Ohio State was a foot away from beating Georgia last year (and therefore ultimately winning the National Championship) and 30 seconds away from beating Michigan this year (and therefore making the CFP). They could arguably claim to be the second best program in the country right now at minimum.
But they are imploding themselves because they lost to Michigan. They are so blinded by Michigan that they are destroying themselves.
You hate to see it.

1. The best team Michigan played was Bama, unfortunately the SEC has been unbeatable in the CFP. They haven’t seen a team like Bama all year with how their offense is centered around the QB that runs ball with authority. When 〽️ beat Bama it gave the team even more confidence that they could beat anyone in the country.
2. 🅾️su prior to this years game 〽️ has already dominated the Buckeyes 2 consecutive years. They already knew they could beat the team from the south.
