Beat UCLA....Men's Bball hosts UCLA thread

We know this at this point...but our new favorite saying rings true, it's getting late early. A sort of must win on the hardwood this afternoon! Kenpom has us a 3 point favorite. We'll see about that. As it often does with our Beilein coached teams if we can just make the open looks (3s) we can take this thing. Also of preference, not going stagnant like we did Monday night in the 2nd half. Go Blue.

"Sort of agree" but there really is never a must win in early December...if we lose, beat Texas and win 11 games in the Big Ten we'd still likely be fine...for example. But yes admittedly in my mind it's a truly must-win game to get a good one notched on the belt

to put up or shut up..He had a great first year and since then Not Much..He misses wide open 3 and gets beat on Defense way to much..Its now or never for Him..otherwise needs to sit and let the youth start..

This is 100% accurate. He does nothing for this team if he isn’t able to come in and get 10 points on limited minutes. He is a serious liability on defense and on the offensive end he hasn’t been a consistent weapon since his first season with the program. It’s been a long time coming, but he really needs to start seeing substantially limited minutes in lieu of Poole and Livers and an adjusted lineup. Duncan becomes a useful weapon if he comes off the bench for 9-12 minutes a game and gets us 10 points.

This does not look like a TEAM. They don't look comfortable with each other. They don't look like they're on the same page. Don't look confident either.

The 4 is such a problem right now. Duncan is always a net negative on D and currently terrible on O, Livers is young and talented but clearly not ready to be a major contributor yet.
