Well best of luck to him, I don't really understand this move, I assume he would have been a starter here and he is going to get his arse kicked every year by Georgia and Alabama now.

Don't wish him the best. He was already on twitter passively attacking Michigan by liking Tweets claiming some bad shit is happening at Michigan that will eventually come to light.

Solomon is an overemotional mamas boy who just made a poor choice for a few quick bucks

His primary recruiters during the 2017 cycle were... Alabama: Jeremy Pruitt, Georgia: Kevin Sherrer, Tracy Rocker, Florida State: Charles Kelly, Florida: Chris Rumph. Those guys are now each on Tennessee’s defensive staff.

plus he struggled with homesickness a little - either way I wish him well

I hate it when people bring out the dollar signs too quick, but Tennessee has been a hot mess for 10-15 years, totally botched their last coaching search and ended up with like their 6th or 7th choice, and just went 5-7 (2-6) and now they're winning recruiting battles all over the place

$$$$$$$$$$$$. Is Hugh at Rocky Top? I'll give it 3-4 years before they're busted

Was there any definitive reason ever posted on why he transferred?

I read the stuff about him being injured too much and perhaps not contributing the way he needed to please coaches, but that seemed kind of a vague rationale.

I never saw anything "definitive" - UMBIG11 seemed to imply that it had to with his injuries and willingness to either play dinged up or perhaps earn his way back to starter snaps after missing games due to injury? He wasn't explicit so reading into a bit on my part.

There seems to be a couple kids who have been bothered by the post-injury two-deep and how that gets sorted out on gameday. Not sure about any details though so just speculation based on comments made around guys like Solomon, James Hudson, and others.

I choose to assume Solomon didn't actually transfer, but rather Michigan traded him for a player to be named later, who will in fact be Quavaris Crouch.

I thought there was a pretty good chance this was true so I went to look up s&p+ rankings (needed some ranking system that would include teams near 100) and yes in fact Tennessee is much much closer to Rutgers than they are to Michigan. Michigan is +21.3 and Tenn is -2.2, and Rutgers is -15.6.

Shouldn't you be on some UT board somewhere, talking about your team's preparation for their bowl game?

Your coach is a dirty fucker, and your university was fine with that - so long as he stops UT from being the SEC's doormat.

Wow a Tennessee troll. That's new.

Michigan has won 10 games in 3 of the last 4 years. Tennessee has won 10 games in 3 of the last 15 years and those years are 03, 04, and 07.

Tennessee is a lot closer to Rutgers than they are to Michigan

From his recruitment to this transfer, I wouldn't be surprised if he declares for the NFL draft before he ever plays a down for Tennessee.

If you came here to have a conversation we'd be down for it. Honestly most of us know jack shit about Tennessee lately other than the Champs of Life stuff.

There's a Penn State guy who hangs out and it's cool.

Doesn't seem like you're looking for that which is also fine.

We'll keep all your recruits in mind when the major sanctions come down in 2-3 years and they're all eligible to transfer immediately. Please care for them and ensure they get into a proper S&C program so they're ready to go when the time comes

In one of his interviews, Crouch states that he's built a repore with Aubrey and that he can see himself playing alongside him.  I was pumped after reading that...not so much anymore.

CA$$$$H. They really dont have much else to offer. Cant wait to hear Jeremy Pruitt hooker stories in the future. Isnt that the way these things always play out- cash and hookers?

Is tampering a thing? Because I believe 100% if those asshats in Tennessee didnt pay him they sure as shit recruited him while he was still enrolled at Michigan.
