Athletic Ticket Office ticket order notification for B1G Championship
For those of you that ordered tickets, I just got my notification of my order being filled. E-tickets on the way later in the week.
Excited to get tickets in with the Michigan fans instead of random scalper tickets.
See you in Indy and Go Blue!
*** Gotta love my wife. She had no problem rescheduling our wedding anniversary celebration plans to attend the championship game.

We have north of 1000 points and got the higher tickets. Said $200 on the order, but now they are saying $150 each.

Thanks for the info, brother. Bring home the W!

The game will be 22 days from my wife’s due date. She’s going to kill me.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:45 PM ^
22 days is plenty of time. No need to sweat this one.

For my son, the doctor whiffed on the due date by almost 30 days. I think he was bad at math. My son was born and his crib and other furniture had just been delivered to the store. I frantically put everything together the day after my son was born.
So, no pressure for you, right?
Best of luck on your pending fatherhood.

For those who received tickets, what sections were they in? I'm going to try the secondary market but want to stay on the UM side if possible.
November 28th, 2021 at 6:55 PM ^
They don’t tell you. “Your mobile ticket(s) with your seat location will be sent later this week. Please note there is no paper ticket option.”
November 28th, 2021 at 6:54 PM ^
I snagged 3 tickets right when we won, and boy have they gone up in price in the hours after the game. Iowa clinching was probably part of it...
Anyways, I actually ended up needing 4 and got them from a kind mgoblogger. Would like to pay that forward and offer mine at cost if anyone wants them and won't just resell!
SOLD

Just texted you!

We are in Hawaii and went to the beach after the game. By the time I saw the email it was past midnight eastern. I am annoyed because we have 228 and might have made the cut. My brother, who lives in Indy, put in a request but I think he has a lower point total unfortunately. The fact that he hasn't called me is ominous.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:08 PM ^
Resale is at stupid prices, I was going to fly in, but not going to pay $500+ per ticket for bad seats.

+1 to your wife

The lack of communication on the ticket requests is frustrating. I feel like it was (potentially) very counterproductive to get on the request list since I could have just bought tickets at a reasonable price yesterday. But because I’m on the list I avoided buying tickets and now the prices are through the roof. So if I get an email tomorrow or something telling me I didn’t get tickets it’s really going to suck.

Since I thought I would get tickets to the game after being a season ticket holder for over 20 years but alas NO. Well I cancelled my Air BNB. It was nice enough for some sleep after the game and had free parking and was under 2 miles from the stadium so an easy 20 minute walk. Was $95 after all the fees.
Was called Private Studio Walk to Indy. Host was Matthew. It might not show up till tomorrow since I just cancelled.
Would rather a Michigan fan get to stay there.
Go Blue!!!!

Are you assuming you didn't get tickets or did you get an email that tickets are no longer available?
I'm in limbo here waiting for any kind of email.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:34 PM ^
I am assuming I didn't get tickets. If everyone else got ticket emails and stubhub updated the stadium map for those sections for fans to sell their tickets I am going to figure I didnt' get any. Sucks that in those sections people are already selling them. Let the true fans go and not pay all the extra fees. I always said I would go to the first game we qualified for. My wife said I could do it but not my luck. I will get drunk at home and celebrate the playoffs when we win. Then I will drive around South Bend on Sunday and rub it in.
Go Blue!!!!

I currently have two tickets of the $95 group (won’t know where they are until later this week). We have a group of 3 (potentially 4) so would be looking to swap 2+ cash for 4 together if someone has more than they need!
November 28th, 2021 at 7:38 PM ^
I emailed the ticket office and they confirmed you will hear one way or another tonight.
that tells me they aren’t done sending “you got tickets emails”.

Just got this.....lol....all the sections it showed for each team is way more than 11,000 tickets.
Thank you for your request of B1G Championship Football Game ticket(s) at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, December 4. We received 23,000 requests for our allotment of 11,000 tickets. While we instituted ticket limits per request in order to assist as many donors as possible, we were only able to fulfill requests for those with at least 215 priority points.
Go Blue!!!!
November 28th, 2021 at 7:57 PM ^
I just got the same, bummer.... if anyone is selling [email protected] is looking for 2 and we'd bring a cowbell!
November 28th, 2021 at 7:59 PM ^
Where do they show sections by team?
November 28th, 2021 at 7:54 PM ^
Email I received said 215 priority points or more were fulfilled. Everyone else, secondary market.
November 28th, 2021 at 7:55 PM ^
Being a non season ticket holder I went straight to the secondary market (TicketSmarter) and grab4 @200 each. Tickets were going fast. It took me 4-5 tries to grab tickets (each time it stated they were no longer available). And the closest hotel I could grab that was not a flea bag type was in Marion, IN. Will be there with my brother (Michigan Alum) and my 2 sons. It’ll be great and yeah. We are LOUD!!
EDIT: Just heard on Fox post game that yesterday’s game was the most watched sporting event on Fox this year.

I know this is a longshot, but I'd love to go with my dad and we aren't getting tickets through the university. If anyone has 2 for sale let me know!
November 28th, 2021 at 8:25 PM ^
Unfortunately didn’t have enough priority points to get tickets. Looking to avoid stubhub fees for 2-4 tickets if anyone’s selling. Thanks! [email protected].
November 28th, 2021 at 8:26 PM ^
I too was short of the priority point total. Was eyeing some remaining single tickets at Ticketmaster at list price before the game, and wish I had just gotten them without a guarantee we would be there. Since I can’t get cell service at MI stadium, I considered asking family to try to get them if Michigan were about to win, but decided to just try to request through the university. I may see if prices lower before having to decide on the trip. I have a hotel near the Ohio border that I can cancel on Friday.

Hello fellow Michigan Mathematics Alumnus!
My only gripe is I was nowhere close to making it - I wish they would have provided more proactive and prompt information regarding positioning so we could have hit the secondary market sooner.
A brief email at the conclusion of the game on Saturday that said:
- >250 points you will have tickets
- 200-250 points you are on the cusp and it is TBD as we work through request by request
- <200, better luck next year
....would have gone a long way for a lot of people!
November 28th, 2021 at 10:59 PM ^
I have 131 points, and I knew my chances probably weren’t that great through the department. The secondary ticket prices went up more quickly than I had expected based on the earlier prices I had seen, but that probably shouldn’t have surprised me since this is our first time there.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:44 PM ^
Didn't get mine
What gets me is that the allotment of 11,000 tickets. That seems really, really low. Assuming Michigan and Iowa get the same amount, in a 67,000 seat stadium, what about the rest of the seats? Besides the bands taking seats.
November 28th, 2021 at 9:58 PM ^
They have a public sale or staking period early in the season. I think you can claim for like $40 and then choose to buy or pass. My Chiropractor gets tickets every year regardless if his team is playing or not.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:48 PM ^
I think I will be watching the game on Fox with the hockey game streaming on my computer. I will still be LOUD. I travelled to Nebraska and Maryland and saw every home game but Northwestern so I had a pretty good year. I will put in an order for Orange Bowl tickets in case we go there because I will be in Florida. If we get beyond that we shall see.
Everyone who going please make sure we hear you on TV.
November 28th, 2021 at 9:03 PM ^
I was notified I received 4 from the Athletic Department today. They were the $90 ones.
I’m assuming there must more charitable season ticket holders than I am.

If anyone wants to sell any BIG10 Championship tickets that gets them but cannot attend please text me @ 937-248-4825. I’ll gladly purchase them. Travelled home from the Game read my email too late. Thanks and Go Blue!

If anyone is selling I would be interested in 2 or 4. [email protected], or 7343685047

I was rejected as well…guess I need to start donating more lol
I’m looking for 2 tickets. Willing to pay decent money depending on section. Couldn’t go to OSU game so really want to go to this one.
November 29th, 2021 at 2:22 PM ^
Has anybody seen anything better than $457a ticket total with taxes and fees for 3 tickets (smartertickets).
edit - Tried several times to order both end up getting a cancellation e-mail from them about 3 minutes later and they don’t answer any of their phone numbers.
