Gimme a fucking break! People really to lighten up in this world.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:10 PM ^
I don't think that's what they meant by "I'm gonna tap that ass".
But then what do I know?
January 16th, 2020 at 1:16 PM ^
While I mostly agree, college students get expelled for sexual assault for the same.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:35 PM ^
But now universities consider looking at someone the wrong way or asking them on a date to be sexual assault and young men get absolutely no due process when accused of a crime. It's pretty pathetic. To be a male on a campus today means you better where sun glasses and keep your hands in your pockets lest you look a someone or accidentally graze them while walking past them.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:41 PM ^
This sounds like its coming from someone who is not - and has not - actually lived on a college campus. That assessment is based on content and composition.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:45 PM ^
Yeah, this is just flat-out false, Rush.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:57 PM ^
Yeah, none of what you just said is true...

This message was brought to you by the Chesapeake He Man Incel Club.

Hands in pocket = pocket pool = uncomfortable environment = expelled
January 16th, 2020 at 1:37 PM ^
I'm in my early 40's. If ass slapping counted as sexual assault 30 years ago, 75% of the kids (boys and girls) in my middle and high schools would have records. There used to be A LOT of ass slapping going on.
Also, can we have that referee from the 2016 Game brought up on charges now? The one that so lovingly caressed Mike Weber's ass. On camera.
January 16th, 2020 at 2:54 PM ^
You slapped strangers’ butts 30 years ago?
January 16th, 2020 at 3:47 PM ^
Nah, we all pretty much knew each other. Unless there were substances involved, then all bets were off.
January 16th, 2020 at 3:06 PM ^
slapping tushies 30 years ago might have been considered somewhat harmless but still not a nice thing to do. eating tushies, on the other hand, probably would have been considered Edison-like innovation...
January 16th, 2020 at 3:50 PM ^
I thought you were about my age? Ass eating was fairly standard back then. At least in relationships. Not something you would do with a one night stand.
Or I was just ahead of my time.
January 16th, 2020 at 5:30 PM ^
You were way ahead of the game, my friend. I’m 44, grew up in NYC, but didn’t really know ass eating was a mainstream way of life until the rap world started to promote it about 10-12 years ago.
Coming from a Wall St trading desk, I thought life was all about cocaine and strippers on weeknights.
i went to Stuyvesant HS from 89-93 but don’t ever recall anyone ever bragging about eating tushy. But then again, Stuy didn’t have the hippest student body.
January 16th, 2020 at 6:12 PM ^
What utensils are used? Is there a special type of fork?
January 16th, 2020 at 6:39 PM ^
No... it's just like a pie eating contest... just dive right in.
January 16th, 2020 at 3:28 PM ^
Perhaps true with respect to slapping fellow students, however I can assure you that in 1993 any sign of disrespect to a police officer (including slapping one) would get you arrested.
Office Mankowski - it's been a long time but I am sorry I called you a penis.

Give the cop a break
The players were smoking cigars. One lineman even tossed a lit cigar in a trashcan and started a small fire according to The Ringer that the cop had to put out
This is on the LSU coaching staff. They shouldn't have allowed players to smoke in the locker room. Everyone knows you cant smoke indoors now a days
OBJ is the idiot here. Tossing around cash, slapping cops ass. This guy fucked up on multiple levels
January 16th, 2020 at 2:00 PM ^
I agree about the fire, but they just won the NC. Let them smoke the damn cigars. Not every damn rule needs to be followed perfectly all the time.
January 16th, 2020 at 2:50 PM ^
On 1/1/98 I was in a hotel party with one Glenn E. "Bo" Schembechler as he insisted on celebrating the NC with a cigar (while he stood on a table, gave a victory speech and led the room in "The Victors"). As this was directly in violation of CA law, the bartender got pretty agitated and started telling Bo it needed to be put out. That didn't go well!
I don't know who said (or paid) what, but I was awfully thankful that the barkeep stood down. And was also glad 1998 cell phones weren't recording it, because that would've taken some of the fun out of a fantastic moment.
January 16th, 2020 at 3:03 PM ^
cigars are lame and gross. what ever happened to celebratory champagne, coke, and hookers?
January 16th, 2020 at 3:17 PM ^
On what planet do you live where they are mutually exclusive? Not in OBJ's world!
January 16th, 2020 at 6:10 PM ^
Speaking of coke, OBJ may have thrown some on the floor... watch him first 7 seconds...reaches into his pocket...out comes coke...tosses it onto floor
0:07 tell me that's not cocaine?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doNSjgNNhpk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doNSjgNNhpk
January 16th, 2020 at 2:06 PM ^
Yes. And although it was hardly the end of the world, there was a measure of drunken hostility in that slap. Not sexual, to my eye, but seeing someone's vulnerability and brazenly whacking them.
I'm no string em up law and order guy but that looks worthy of official reprimand to me.
January 16th, 2020 at 2:24 PM ^
That's what's weird about the video. That was not your typical celebratory smack on the ass in the euphoria of celebration. OBJ walked up from behind, smacked the guy's ass and immediately had a retracting reaction. That was not an innocent "well done" or "good job" in the heat of the moment.
January 16th, 2020 at 3:35 PM ^
Yeah I thought the same thing... I watched the video and said "oh c'mon," until I saw the look on his face and demeanor and it suddenly looked like a hostile act.
On the other hand, if you watch the longer version of this video, that officer is poking around the players stuff and generally looks like he trying to be a wet blanket on their celebration. Doesn't justify hitting him, but if I were the police in this situation I would let the whole thing go.
January 16th, 2020 at 5:32 PM ^
"I'm no string em up law and order guy...."
This statement just made me ask myself if the crime was "especially Heinous..."
DUN DUN
January 16th, 2020 at 2:39 PM ^
Serious question: If the cop were female, would you feel the same way?
January 17th, 2020 at 1:51 PM ^
IF... the cop were female, I would have loved to see her turn around and knock his ass out! lmao
That woulda been priceless...
January 16th, 2020 at 12:51 PM ^
Says a lot more about the cop (or whichever prosecutor decided it was worth anything after seeing the video) than it does about obj.
EDIT: I stand corrected. Additional comments report that there is a longer version of the video showing OBJ flicking a baggie of coke at the officer before slapping him on the ass. It appears OBJ was just being a douche and probably deserved it given the entire scenario.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:06 PM ^
What exactly does it say?
January 16th, 2020 at 1:30 PM ^
Clearly the cop is SOFT. No REAL MAN would be bothered by some surprise ass slapping. This is a locker room. BACK IN MY DAY ass slapping was a sign of BROTHERHOOD and SOCIETY TODAY doesn’t know what that even means.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:36 PM ^
I can’t see where it says that he cop was a man.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:40 PM ^
Did you, uh, watch the video?
January 16th, 2020 at 2:58 PM ^
Times they are a changing.
January 16th, 2020 at 2:12 PM ^
You think there was a BAGGIE of COKE in the locker room?!
January 16th, 2020 at 12:52 PM ^
You wouldn't slap a teacher on the ass when you know the next result can lead to suspension/expulsion from school right? Funny when all these athletes and their ego's think they can walk on water. But mission accomplished for OBJ, his name is in the headlines more than you know, the actual players that won the National Championship.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:10 PM ^
Jesus Christ.
Everyone is so damn sensitive these days.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:12 PM ^
I'm glad you've made it this far in life living without consequences, ole moral champion.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:41 PM ^
What he did isn't a crime whether you agree with it or not. The cop was overzealous doing his job trying to take cigars away from players. You can tell just by looking at him in the actual video that any little thing would set him off. Is your judgement always 100% certain at all times? Now add alcohol and celebration to the mix and this is what you get. The cop must have had his ego bruised and now needs to save face by suing the rich person who did him wrong. I never said he shouldn't have did what he did but to be punished over THAT is bullshit.
Edit: I jumped the gun with the lawsuit talk but that will be next.
January 16th, 2020 at 2:03 PM ^
Slapping someone on the ass is, in fact, a crime. It’s called battery.
January 16th, 2020 at 2:09 PM ^
So going by your logic here, if you did the same exact thing to your teacher back in HS/College, or your boss at work in a room full of people, you think you wouldn't receive any punishment for your actions? Oh, but because it's an officer in uniform it's not a crime, got it.
January 16th, 2020 at 2:56 PM ^
You can tell just by looking at him in the actual video that any little thing would set him off.
Really? You can just tell that huh?
The cop must have had his ego bruised and now needs to save face by suing the rich person who did him wrong.
Or, as according to reports, officer was just trying to do his job and some rich drunk assholes were making his job difficult. I hope OBJ goes to jail.
January 16th, 2020 at 1:37 PM ^
It's inappropriate but I don't think it warrants charges. How about they use those tax dollars and time resources to go after murderers, rapists and child molesters driving their ridiculously high crime rate?
January 16th, 2020 at 3:20 PM ^
Are they not? Do you think they just tabled a case against a murder, rapist, or child molester to get all hands on deck on this OBJ guy?
January 16th, 2020 at 3:33 PM ^
Of course, silly. Didn’t you know that all crime is a zero sum game? If you prosecute one person it means some other persons crime goes unpunished!
January 16th, 2020 at 12:54 PM ^
no way OBJ's blood alcohol content was .00%
