The Airing Of MGoGrievances

Since it is Festivus and some of us do indeed celebrate it in some form or another, let us have a specific thread for the airing of MGoGrievances as we did in years past. 

After all, "I'VE GOT A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH YOU PEOPLE..."

The MGoGirlfriend is a huge fan. So we saw him at Pine Knob this past summer, and will see him on Broadway this spring when he has the lead role in "Sweeney Todd."

Yeah, yeah, I know. But there are times in every relationship when you say "Yes, dear" and just do it. Besides, the concert was actually pretty good, and the idea of seeing NY in the spring has a certain appeal.

Let the trashing of me commence.

My kid looked at him quizzically and then asked him for a real Michigan helmet, only to be told he'd have to steal one from the team and that Santa was a buckeye. Not what anyone in the family was expecting to hear down here in Georgia. Literal shock upon hearing that exchange.

When we were leaving my kids said they didn't like Santa anymore.

So, screw Santa. Since the boy's birthday is within a week of Christmas we went ahead and ordered him the helmet and told him he didn't have to rely on Santa for Michigan stuff and that we have him covered.

It's annoying that almost everywhere you call or visit, you will still get the excuse - "We are experiencing longer than normal wait times, due to the pandemic we are short of staff".

My local Chipotle is just milking that excuse for anything and everything now.

Every time without fail, they’ll be out of 6 different things, they won’t give you drink lids, the ice machine has been broken for 2 months and they’re always 30 minutes behind their advertised pickup times, “due to the pandemic”.

Bullshit- there’s 7 of you working on to go orders; most legit restaurants don’t have the staff you do and they’re serving a real menu and twice as many people. The whole place is dirty; at some point you just stuck at managing your franchise.
