1 month til the Spring Game, and a lack of Promotion by the athletic Department on this

We got 2 Water Polo games that day, Baseball and Softball that day. Not hard to figure out this is gonna be Later in the afternoon or evening , especially with OSU having their Spring Game earilier that day. The Michigan Marching Band Calender even gave it away as to a later Spring Game this year.

Just spit out the time my goodness, and start Promoting the game.  I just do not get why the AD hasn't done this to promote this, Were a month away.

The one day you can really help all of these other sports and promote football also.

Than we wonder why we only get like 40000 people to the spring game. Osu has had their spring game hyped for months and will sell it out.

I'm guessing that MBB being in the middle of a potential Final Four run coupled with a lack of hype around football right now has alot to do with it.

against yourself. What difference does it make if 100,000 or 20,000 show up? Really, does it matter? Think positively. If it's a smaller crowd, you get a better seat.

the main reason I am asking is, how important is the promotion and the attendance to a recruit, especially when comparing Ohio State to Michigan. I guess thats a big reason why i am asking.

of money promoting an event that could have the attendance nuked by snow showers falling that day.  Since they don't  charge admission it's a negative-revenue event.  In Scum-bus, I'm sure the early-mid April weather is a lot more predictably mild.  Just a thought.

I never understood why they don’t just charge a dollar to get in and promote the game after the fucking bowl game?? You would guarantee 50,000 $& plus get an accurate attendance count

and donate the proceeds to some worthy local charitable organization? Provide an incentive like three randomly drawn attendees are given the chance to kick a field goal from the 30, with the prize of two season tickets.

A rats ass that Michigan doesn't promote the Spring game and OSU does and might sell it out. There are far more important things about Michigan football to pay attention to.

As one the the other posters said.....the weather is dicy anyway.....

i personally think its big amoung the recruits, we can spend all this money on trips to Rome and France and other things but not care about a great marketing tool in the Spring Game especially among recruits and image.

You can say what you want about winning and how wins doi matter, which they do, but have to use every advanatge you can have. Also should let OSu announce first their spring game day, and than pick the weekend after. Rather than going head to head. I don't think that is smart either.
