Michigan Rumors Summary Video
So with all of the information that is being thrown around various social media platforms, I thought I'd share this video that addresses the current coaching carousel at UM. It matches up pretty well with the information that is being discussed on the premium UM forums (247/Scout and Rivals). Hope this helps everyone organize this mess.
EDIT, Link Taken Down*** I apologize. I did not know that we banned ChatSports videos. Just recently became active again on MGoBlog. I just saw that the video information (regarding Enos, Frey, Partridge, etc) matched up with the other forums. Sorry everyone, please don't kill me.

I always do the Michigan roster for NCAA 14 and you always seem so plugged in to what's going on behind the scenes. Any chance you would help with me a depth chart this year? Seth has helped me out in the past but the more info I have the better. If your interested here is my email [email protected]. Thanks for always keeping us plugged in man it means a lot!

My opinion means jack but the only way I'd be ok with Drevno staying is with a demotion to OL coach. And that still leaves a relative dead spot for recruiting which is suboptimal.
The passing game from all aspects was a disaster - production, in-season progress, player development - so it'd be a huge disappointment if we kept Pep.

I think this basically sums up everones opinion on the matter. If no changes are made I think it will be a huge disappointment.

If Drevno stays in a diminished role I would be ok with it...but I've seen enough out of Pep...back to the NFL with you sir.

think back to how he found Don Brown
If he follows that approach, he won't come up with Roman.
I hope he does follow the Don Brown approach and bring in a Moorhead type.
Perhaps not Moorhead's scheme per se, but a top level college OC, with a proven track record of success with college players.

The reference to baggage makes me wonder if Art Briles might be under consideration. He had a great reputation in high school and college football until the recent mess at Baylor. I'm not knowledgeable enough about that situation to know the extent of his involvement.
Good people occasionally make mistakes - some more egregious than others - yet most people who acknowledge those deserve a second chance. I still regret how Michigan handled the Gary Moeller situation. Briles might possibly be deserving of another shot. I don't know. But, he's a great offensive coach with strong recruiting ties in Texas.
... "how he found Don Brown" - Well, I guess it might be instructive to look at schools that have had leading offenses the past couple of years.
umbig11: Thank you for your posts.

No worries man. People are cranky this time of year let alone following the results of a bowl game that was less than flattering. Just keep striving to be better today than you were yesterday and better tomorrow than you are today!

Well it matches up because all they do is regurgitate what is discussed on the premium boards.

Is there a good reference somewhere of what sites/links are banned?
I thought I saw once not to link/mention the Freep. But there was an analysis article on there by Nick where he walked through a number of plays from the Outback Bowl, and I actually learned a lot from it.
Obviously, with 3 OL out, and blocking schemes that don't manage space well at all but simply pile up bodies, things were not going to go well. And play-calling was abysmal on several locations--including the million inside zone rushes that go for 1 yard and a cloud of dust.
But I didn't realize how badly we had been hurt by not having a capable WR coach this year. Reading the descriptions, route by route, on a handful of plays from the Outback Bowl really underlined that to me.
I think the article would be helpful to others, but since it's Freep I didn't think I could post a link...
So where do we learn what's banned?

People get pissy about the Free Press still even though most of those clowns from Stretchgate are gone. Whatevs. That was a time, this is a time. I've linked articles from them without much blowback.

isn't chat sports the place run by a high school kid who pretends to be a male model on twitter and makes up everything he writes out of thin air?
