OT: Rutgers, The Rich Get Richer
Just kidding, the poor get poorer. Rutgers gets 2 years probation for failing to monitor football program. Honestly, who wants to monitor them doing anything?

That's a "nice ass" look Kyle just shot the camera.

that was a "that dude is crazy" look.
September 22nd, 2017 at 12:36 PM ^
Is it really against the rules to "fail to monitor" incompetence?
September 22nd, 2017 at 12:38 PM ^
Exactly, if I was in charge of monitoring them, I'd be at the bar drowning my sorrows.

The NCAA doesn't have the cruel sense of humor to do that.

Monitoring Rutgers sounds like a harsh punishment in itself.

Given what a mess it is when they play football, just imagine how disorganized and screwed up their personal lives are? To quote Deadpool, it must be like watching "two hobos f*****g in a shoe filled with piss."
September 22nd, 2017 at 5:41 PM ^
Must be either a damn big shoe or 2 very small hobos.
September 22nd, 2017 at 5:41 PM ^
BTW, are hobos and clowns related or the same genus???
September 22nd, 2017 at 6:20 PM ^
The reverse order strikes me as more common

And the football program gets the death penalty would it be considered a mercy killing?

didn't read the article. Afterall, "I can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking my head up a bull's ass, but wouldn't you rather take the butcher's word for it?"

I think what you mean is, "You can get a good look at butcher's ass by sticking your head up there, but wouldn't you his word for it?"

Penn State's next 9 regular season opponents are Akron, Akron, Akron, Akron, Akron, Akron, Akron, Akron, and Akron.
Man, Akron is going to own A LOT of land on the final version of College Football Imperalism.

I was curious to see what he is up to now. Looks like he found a home as an assistant OL coach for the Atlanta Falcons.

News of our main rivals is never OT.
September 22nd, 2017 at 2:07 PM ^
We get it, Rutgers thinks they're our rival, but we don't think of them that way. It was funny at first, but now it is totally played out.
And it's disrespectful to our true main rival - Illinois.

Glad I read your post all the way through. I always like your posts, but as I started reading that one, I began to think your /s meter wasn't working... then BOOM, Illinois! Nicely done.

during the season. That's a good response as far as the NCAA is concerned. Then they fired him and the AD as soon as the season ended. Given the nature of the charges, probation seems like their most appropriate penalty.

Sewage Flood. A Bowl ban would've been a great troll.
September 22nd, 2017 at 1:05 PM ^
The NCAA was also going to give them a bowl ban but decided why bother?

at the expense of New Jersey's youth--you should be. . . okay, that's funny.
My mom used to teach at their med school, and the place kinda had a rep as a decent, affordable state school.

Which is hilarious.
Because Rutgers is poor.

This man is monitoring Rutgers as we speak....
September 22nd, 2017 at 1:59 PM ^
Is clearly a Rutgers student working his magic on a class whiteboard. The mop to his right is his major. Even more to his right is just another day in 'Jersey.

September 22nd, 2017 at 1:31 PM ^
Does that mean they won't be able to accept a bowl bid?!
:(
September 22nd, 2017 at 1:45 PM ^
Slap on the wrist.
I guess the NCAA noticed that Rutgers had put itself on a double secret 10 year bowl ban commencing a few years ago.
