OT - Reuben Foster sent home from NFL combine
Article doesn't say much but according to a Robert Klemko from Sports Illustrated:
"Foster grew impatient with long line for exams... pulled the 'do you know who I am?' card. A male hospital employee, unimpressed, told him he would wait like everyone else. Foster warned the man that he'd put hands on him, and the employee said, simply, Do it. That's when the "face to face, heated exchange" happened, as Schefter reported."
This is after he reportedly had bad interviews all week. Lol just cost himself a ton of money.
Steroids does have a tendency to cause bouts of rage..
Can't wait to see how this overinflated assclown behaves after they hand him millions of dollars. Assault a doctor and he will be giving a lot of it back. Sorry but I have a lot more respect for a medical doctor over some fuck who can tackle people. Respect is a two way street no matter who you are.
Sounds like a late day 1, early day 2 kinda hospital worker
come at me, bro
Well, that's one way to learn that all the perceived pageantry of playing football for Alabama and in the SEC still amounts to being - at best - a minor regional celebrity in many cases, much like local newscaters, in a sense. Also, that's one awesome hospital employee - that man truly does deserve a raise for not putting up with Foster's shit.
Even in the terrible years, the nation and beyond knew who Denard Robinson was. Go back to that same time frame and ask the majority if they know an SEC/Alabama player. You'd get answers like Tim Tebow and Johnny Manziel. That's truthfully about it. Tebow was before that too. SEC would've gone under had ESPN not become their promoter. They are still on the edge. Note how they got all riled up when Harbaugh started going down there. If they start losing all of their best players in their stronghold down there, they are over with. When teams like Michigan and Ohio and Penn can have their way and pickings, put a fork in their nice little run on the timeline. No one wants to go into the dirty south if they aren't winning NCs anymore and a majority won't want to stay. Why would you? There's nothing there.
The ridiculous part is he's only a little over a year removed from a torn ACL, and still ran a 4.22. It's crazy how much orthopaedic sports medicine has improved.
Did Ross ever consider Michigan? Seems I remember he did but then again I might have been drinking.
I think he had an offer, but there was never any real interest shown. He was class of 2013 when Hoke and Pizza Man were still around, so I can say with absolute certainty that you were drinking.
Exactly. Charley Casserly tweeted that they worked him out as a WR and he looked like a 1st round pick there too. As I said, bench press doesn't mean shit. Good football players are good football players
However, this guy always struck me as not being the brightest crayon in the box. Anyone who gets an Auburn tattoo and then turns right around and goes to Alabama probably has less than stellar critical thinking skills.
Got sent home. Hope it costs him a million or two via draft order
He wasn't even doing any of the workouts. All he had to do was get through interviews and medical exam without acting like an ass.
Wonder what Pete Finebaugh will have to say about this?
NEWSFLASH.....
The Lions are lurking in the weeds....
Although being selected by the Lions may be too severe a punishment.
I'll bet he is willing to pay to play for the Patriots. Using his college income, of course.
And it ain't Reuben Foster.
If you look closely, you can actually see the moment this dipshit lost millions of dollars...
In other funny combine news, Chesson can levitate. He also had an 11 foot broad jump.
Reflect Leadership." Julius Campbell - Remember the Titans (one of my favorite movies of all time).
I agree with some of the posters that this knucklehead will still do well in the draft, but man respect is lost on so many of these guys.
