Noticed similarities of Super Bowl champion James White and Kurt Taylor
With obvious reasons, I think most on this board would probably crown Brady the MVP of last night's historic SB win. But James White did make a case for himself as well. Which made me look up his stats and recruiting profile this morning. I found the results to be very hopeful when comparing them to our own Kurt Taylor

If nothing else, maybe we have a future RB tandem similar to Montee Ball & James White.....That certainly wouldn't be a bad thing! Personally, I'm pulling for Kurt anyway because it just seems that he really showed that he was destined to be a wolverine!
Go Blue!

I talked to his agent, and in his mind, he's already gone to Carolina...

Yeah something like that, but with the last thing you said, Taylor was much more willing to jump through any hoops the coaches wanted him to in order to remain in the class. Swenson was obviously less so.

So every low 3* who is 5'9 and plays RB should expect to be in the range of James White. Thanks OP.

have similar skill levels at all. White looks pretty danged good. I was actually surprised to find out this a.m. he didn't get the MVP award for the game. He made a huge difference for the Patriots. Of course it's always hard to argue against TB getting it either.

He already has the physique of a College Senior. He is going to be a fucking Tank of a RB come his 3-4 year

He might have the potential to be the next Michael Pittman or Thomas Jones with those guns at this young age. That dude is physically blessed.

certainly showed more optimism on Taylor, not sure why there seems to ba a lack of one now.......Some were comparing him to Mike Hart......

I like our RB haul this year. Omaury is strong as fuck and fast. Very athletic. He could make an impact right away. As for Taylor the only thing that worries me is his entire offensive line, he posted a picture, all had scholrship offers to decent schools so he had a really good oline which defintely helped. Time will tell with taylor but I think he'll be solid come his final years

If Roger Taylor, Andy Taylor and John Taylor fired Simon LeBon and Nick Rhodes and hired James Taylor and Kurt Taylor to join Duran Duran....my God they'd all be Taylors yet unrelated. Whoa.
February 6th, 2017 at 5:27 PM ^
Kurt Taylor will get snaps here. It may take a season or two but he'll get on the field.
February 6th, 2017 at 5:41 PM ^
Taylor might not have the top end speed or jukes that Evans does but he won't fall down when a feather blows across the field and brushes against his shoulder pads. I'd say he has good enough vision. Straight up Taylor can ball. He is strong as hell and has enough speed and quicks to compete at Michigan. Get him working on his sprinting and working on those abs and hip flexors along with some grueling plyometics for the quicks and you have a lethal cat boys.

If you ask Terry Bradshaw, James Lewis had himself a great game yesterday.
