I've dish with a DVR and the satillite is about 1.5 sec behind the over-the-air, local broadcasts. I get the Brandstater/Dierdort broadcast via MGoBlue.com. Depending on internet traffic jams, the broadcast is anywhere from 10-25sec behind dish. So, I delay the satillite via the DVR and sync it to the broadcast...usually get it pretty close, to the point where the referee's calls are not outta whack.
Other than when I'm telephoning someone else watching the game and they start hooting, hollering and then say, "Did you see that?" the delay is no big deal.

I would say that if you have the money and requisite ability to create a situation where you can physically slow down your time to match the radio broadcast, then this would be the preferred solution. After all, if you personally can exist independent of ou unidirectional and linear perception of time, why wouldn't you showcase this talent to make catching games more convenient?

Watching a game in person, you are out of luck.
Watching a game on TV that has DVR features - play the TV broadcast at a slight delay to match the radio broadcast - I've done it before and it works very well.

Last year I tried this for the first time and found that the delay on 1050AM was almost non-existant. When the ref turned on his field mic, I found it lined up pretty well.

I've found the radio is ahead of the TV so DVR pause doesn't work.I wish they had fast frw/rewind/pause for radio.

This is absolutely true. As a color man, Brandstatter is quite good. As play-by-play, pretty terrible.

For the first several years I had season tickets, sooooo many people brought radios to the games at Michigan Stadium and listened to his play-by-play that it was almost impossible to not hear old Ufe. There was no radio delay---his radio broadcasts always matched up with the action on the field.

DVR the game. pause the game the ~5 seconds until it's even. profit.

Record both. Use a good editing software to sync the audio & video. Edit out the commercials. Send me the files. I'll watch & enjoy.

No pausing the DVR until we beat MSU and OSU.

I always remember Ufer honking his horn 30 seconds before the TV showed the TD. At lest I knew something good was about to occur. But Ufer was far superior than most of the announcer, though I did like Kieth Jackson.
