PSA for NYC Friends: Harbaugh interview with Mike Francesa tomorrow 2/5
Mike Francesa will be interviewing Jim Harbaugh tomorrow on his show. "New Yawk's Numbah 1" mentioned he will be the first guest tomorrow; look for him to be on around 2:05.
Interesting choice of interview for Harbaugh, but it can't hurt New York/New Jersey recruiting efforts. Francesa is one of those who still thinks Oakland is in play, so it should be an interesting interview. He recently mentioned on his show that Harbaugh's desire to hold spring practice in Florida was evidence of his desire to leave Michigan ASAP.

He called Francesa last week as Richard's dad. Talked about the Chiefs. "Go Chiefs." He told Howard that they called him back and told him to knock it off. Why after all the times he's called they got mad at that one I don't know.

Or maybe, just maybe, it is a great opportunity for the players to somewhat enjoy their spring breaks and for Michigan to get an "IN" at IMG Academy.

I have to say that Harbaugh's gotten so much better at interviews since the beginning of last year (particularly deflecting questions he thinks are stupid without looking like he thinks the interviewer is stupid) but I fear this could be one of those Cowherd type moments.

I maintained for the longest time that part of his short fuse was just him being tired as all hell from all the stuff he immediately had to do when he got hired, hiring coaches, diving straight into recruiting, etc. Feel like he didn't sleep at all when he first got hired.

Harbaugh doesn't sleep, man.
(Truthfully, I wouldn't doubt that he's one of those overachiever types who thrives on 4 hours a night.)

was when Victor Hobson was drafted by the NY Jets in the second round, and Francesca didn't seem to know anything about him. So I tried to help.
PS: Thanks for the heads-up.

Anyone know how to listen to this online?

I hope this one goes better than the Coweherd interview did.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll be listening to Francesa for the first time in a long while; he’s pretty damn insufferable most of the time.
